Wonder Rocket in Harajuku. I love rabbits, the Alice in Wonderland Alice with the white rabbit head is kind of creepy. You have to give it that after seeing this mannequin you will not forget this shop. Laying in bed I am reminded of life, death, family, and the future. Looking at this picture I am reminded that life is transient and when one life ends another begins. When I took this picture I didn't find a deeper meaning than "a bunch of Buddha." Looking at all that has changed in our lives, this scene now brings out emotions. There is a lot of Kamakura that on my previous trips I wasn't capable of appreciating and learning from. Each time visiting those temples and shrines I walked away with a little more. While the religious meaning is lost on me, because I have not studied Buddhism or Shintoism I am learning a little more about myself each trip and each time I revisit my photos of Kamakura. It was a cold and rainy spring night when the was taken. We got the bright idea to walk from the original site of the Tokyo Pokemon Center to Tokyo Tower. It was dark, wet, and very cold. On this trip we were being followed by Fuji TV for a segment on traveling around Tokyo. They were not allowed to help us on our trip in any way. So, they like us made the trek to Tokyo Tower on foot when the mass transit system would have taken us there easier. Sitting at home longing for something missing. I started going through my photos of previous adventures. I found this picture of a temple in Kamakura. I am reminded of how much I loved those adventures and miss them. I long to go back to Japan and continue exploring and learning. I think the appeal isn't the fan stuff, but the challenge of exploring a place so different, so full of rich history (both good and bad), a place so far from home that I am forced to go outside my comfort zone and expand who I am. The more I have explored, the more I learned, the more I learned the more I found what I was capable of. I miss the challenge and adventure. I though they were "mini-figs." This guy is anything but mini. He is about 4ft. He is at the Legoland in Ikebukuro Sunshine City.
