Well, Dinah’s not wrong. But that doesn’t mean Zinda’s gotta like it, anymore than she likes leaning here on the doorjamb with no immediate method of retaliation, arms crossed and a stubborn little I’ll-listen-but-I-don’t-like-it line forming between her brows.
“She never wants us to have any fun.”
Dinah’s chuckling, but Dinah’d chuckle and I’m-fine her way right into losing a limb, so Zinda’s not wholly sure it’s all as fine as she might say.
“You okay, sis? Getcha anything?”
She wants to agree, she really does, Barbara can get a little extreme at times. Part of the Bat-charm, if anyone asks her, but she knows where it comes from too. Going out on a mission alone or unsupervised is reckless, and while she loves a little bit of danger in her life, it’s better if they can help it.
“Ah yes, like something like this is going to go smoothly under her all-seeing-Oracle-eyes, I’d love to see us try,” Dinah laughs, instantly hissing as her muscles move and tense. Okay, maybe three days. Not more, though, if she’s still hurting after three days then she’s putting on her brave mask and pretending it’s all good. No way she’s missing out on a good fight. “It’s all good, I just need rest I think,” she shrugs, “maybe a drink--- coffee, tea, something warm.”
