B keeps focusing on Krav Maga but I want to learn something else.” He does know his training is focused on the fact that Jason fights dirty, hence, the krav maga and the low punches. He approaches Helena, a little skip on his step. “Or at least let’s buy food. I miss Alfred’s food.”

she didn’t take the comment to heart,  she rarely did with him.  he might be the  ONLY  one in this crummy town that accepted her after all  (  &  he had to be basically twelve.  )  mild irritation touched her lips however,   ❛ that because it’d make you actually do your homework instead of running around in tights all night ? ❜

“Who has time to do homework anyway?” He grinned at her and hopped down from where he was perched on the fire escape. It wasn’t often that he could behave like a kid but he saw Helena enough as a big sister to let himself.

SO  DOES  SHE .   more  than  anything ,  so  does  she .   the  ups  and  downs  between  herself  and  renee  have  been  intense  and  plenty ,   enough  for  either  of  them  to  be  completely  valid  in  hating  the  other  but   ---   but  somehow  that’s  never  been ,  will  never  be  the  case .   the  love  between  them  may  be  different  now ,  but  it’s  still  there .   for  some  stupid  reason ,  kate still  cares .   for  all  her  talk  and  bluster ,  she’s  never  been  able  to  fully  turn  her  back  on  her .   maybe  if  she  had ,  renee  wouldn’t  be  in  that  operating  room  fighting  for  her  life  right  now .   she  never  would  have  been  involved  with  the  case ,  never  would  have  been  put  in  the  line  of  fire .   she  never  should  have  taken  the  hit  in  the  first  place !  for  fuck’s  sake ,  renee ,  batwoman’s  bulletproof !
