Appreciation post for Chronicles of Avalon (a wip made by @carefulpyro, or Cass!!) <3 Castien is LITERALLY my favorite character from what you've written of them, and Kit and Jami and Tallesin (even though I haven't read any content of them thus far) are close seconds and thirds! I'm very excited to follow their further adventures through the progress of Chronicles of Avalon, so count me as a dedicated supporter!! (p.s: crossover between Chronicles of Avalon and the Melody Blade Saga potientally in the future, if you're up for it??)

asenri, in a word, is stifling. in many aspects. the way he monitors every detail, the way he dresses, the way he carries himself, and the way he’s so so attentive. like, overall he rises to his duties as a prince and he’s pretty to look at, but it’s startling to have his attention suddenly placed on you.

he rarely shouts, and he speaks low and slowly, to make the world make sense. calm and quiet and always listening, a kind of rage that boils instead of burns. asenri has a vaguely motherly aspect to him that he’s shaped around what he thinks a mother does since he’s never had someone in his life to properly fill that role.

You said you'd take wip ships so Laila/Darius

I think the moment when I started shipping Laila/Darius was when she more or less barged into his room and stole his work, while Darius was like: "Hearteyes, motherf*cker"

I love this kind of dynamics where the characters are free with wach other. They don't censor themsleves or worry about what will happen in their relationship if they do X things. And I feel like Laila/Darius fits this to a T.

The Romeo and Juliet parallels were also pretty nice, ngl. The difference in their cultures is a constant source of tension and I like that. My fave part is the way they both want power and don't want to give it up just to be with each other. Plus, I think they complement each other nicely, while still being defferent characters with unique voices, so kudos to you for this amazing characterization!

(And I said it once, but the history between Laila and Dominus somehow makes me like the ship even more. You are kinda a miracle worker as far as love triangles go, imo)

It’s been a little while since I first introduced The Glowing Cities (plus I’m really happy with that banner), so here’s a bit of a reintrod

I really love the concept of it! The characters are absolutely amazing, and the powers are so nice! (I especially love James, he's just my favorite)

And her writing is just super good overall, I'm always in awe whenever I read a snippet or just, anything, really.
