if everything God is "telling you to do" always ends in some sort of recognizably external or material benefit to you, girl you're confusing God for self-affirmation and you've fallen prey to prosperity gospel
#i'm not saying God never encourages us to do things we happen to want or that result in obvious material benefits#but like. God also calls us to sacrifice and deny ourselves#its a pretty Big Point in the new testament that the life of a Christian is often an uncomfortable one#you should be also sensing times God wants you to do things that suck majorly and dont result in any material benefit to you#otherwise Something Is Wrong
