Here's Yet Another Oro-sama Headcanon: "Oto-san"

Orochimaru puts up with a lot of Sasuke’s issues, no matter what the Uchiha says or does. Orochimaru may do this so as not to lose him, or it may be that deep down he loves Sasuke like an adopted son and spoils him. I know I’m not the first person to propose this headcanon, but I might be able to add another layer to this theory. While Sasuke is able to hold his own in battle, he’s still young and requires guidance. He talks big, but then runs home with his tail between his legs. This is best shown through Sasuke’s initial “defeat” of Orochimaru, and his reviving his mentor. It’s true that Sasuke showed some maturity in his decision, and the following discussion with Orochimaru proves that. However, Orochimaru himself made the comment that Sasuke was, in his words, “still a child”. Sasuke refuting his teacher’s claim doesn’t change the fact that he revived Orochimaru because he needed his experience and assistance. Also, Orochimaru referring to Sasuke as a child might reveal that he still sees him as the young boy he trained for three years and is in denial of his student growing up. Parents are like that. Here is where my headcanon becomes rather difficult to understand. In the past, Orochimaru and Sasuke tried to kill each other. Take that fact into consideration, and it’s impossible to envision the two as adoptive father and son. Perhaps over time the two have developed a dependence on each other, and their past serves as a test of their strengths. They fit the dysfunctional family dynamic, and Team Taka’s interaction throughout the war supports this claim. Sasuke insults Orochimaru both to his face and behind his back, but he still needs his master’s guidance. Orochimaru doesn’t let his protégé’s comments get to him, for he understands that the Uchiha is young and unsure. Orochimaru even stated that Sasuke was just as Orochimaru was before he wanted to destroy Konoha. Therefore, the two are connected by a mutual understanding of the misery life brings, and relate to each other in that respect. even then, Orochimaru has revealed that he’s interested to see what choices Sasuke will make. It wouldn’t be a stretch to say that he could be hoping that Sasuke breaks free of the curse of hatred. After all, parents want for their children what they couldn’t achieve. Orochimaru realizes the baggage Sasuke carries and wants to lessen the load while still giving his pupil room to grow. Sasuke may say that Orochimaru is vile, but he could secretly look up to him as the one person who understands him the most. In sum, Orochimaru and Sasuke Uchiha are a dysfunctional father and son duo. Orochimaru serves as the single, asexual/homosexual/married-to-the-job-but-will-take-a-woman-home-on-an-odd-day father. Sasuke is the spoiled son who takes his father for granted until he gets in over his head. The two would never admit it, but they rely on each other just as a parent and child should.

I had one. It would start talking in the middle of the night so I started leaving it in the bathroom next to my room so I could sleep but it just made the voice echo. It was a baby furby so sometimes it didn’t even say words, just noises.
