For all my Mochlings using Voltage's Love365 app, there seems to have been a slight change in their terms and conditions/Privacy policy!
I discovered that they have added a clause that if you are inactive for over a year they have the right to deactivate your account! Yikes!
If you are or are planning to take a break for an extended period please make sure you occasionally open your Love365 app to make sure your account is safe! And check your profile to be sure you are still logged in.
Mochi's Updates: The End of NTT Solmare's Shall We Date
Say it isn't so!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hello hello my dear Mochlings, Mochi here with a very very delayed post about the termination of NTT Solmare's Shall we date series T_T
I had been keeping an eye on updates but hadn't had a chance to post anything, better late than never I suppose.
I also found out that Moe! Ninja Girls will also be terminated but we are just here for the Otome!
While we only have a couple of days until the plug is pulled, I wanted to take the time to cover what is going on, collecting CG's and wrapping up by disconnecting your accounts if you have them and saying goodbye to an old friend.
Let's get started!
What is going on?
Starting off, this is not the first time NTT Solmare had terminated games, back in 2020 I wrote a post about the first wave of terminations of the standalone apps and I'm sure most knew of the Story Jar app, which also suffered termination. Now we are facing the end of the Dear Otome app (which were/are still stand alones on android devices), I actually did a review covering Dear Otome and the available games back in 2018!
Per NTT Solmare, they released a notice back in August of 2025
I will include a picture of the notice: One is from the Dear Otome app and the other is from their website notice page.
Unfortunately they will be shutting down the games in their entirety including:
Shall we date?: Wizardess Heart+ (iOS, Android, Facebook Canvas)
Shall we date?: Blood in Roses+ (iOS, Android, Facebook Canvas)
Shall we date?: Love Tangle+ (iOS, Android, )
Shall we date?: Ninja Shadow+ (iOS, Android, Facebook Canvas)
Shall we date?: Guard me, Sherlock!+ (iOS, Android, Facebook Canvas)
Shall we date?: Lost Alice+ (iOS, Android, Facebook Canvas)
Shall we date?: Dear Otome (iOS) and as I mentioned in my opening blurb, Moe! Ninja Girls.
All of this will take place, according to the website, on October 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM (PT).
What now?
With this in mind, what can you do now? At this point there isn't much to be done, downloads ceased on September 28, 2025 at 6:00 PM (PT), so for those who may have uninstalled early, it's probably too late and it is late for those who never downloaded before but for those of you who still have access now is the time to enjoy the few moments we have left.
My suggestion is to save your CG's! Whether you are using Dear Otome or the individual apps it's best to be able to save the memories while you can. Each game (including going into the game via Dear Otome) has an album or memories page , each album allows you to tap on an individual character and see all of the photos you have unlocked, while there is no designated save photo option the game does allow you to save a screenshot. If you have a favorite CG that you want to remember save it while you can, I also saved an image of the album menu with all of the characters names as well as a screenshot of the title pages so I would remember them.
The Disconnect!
After saving your images, I would recommend disconnecting your account. Doing so would help you keep track of your active accounts, and removing your info. It will be easier to do this now before the termination date as the apps will not operate afterwards. The image below is an example of the Dear Otome IOS screen. The android apps used Facebook to save data. The instructions below will apply to the image mainly.
While I don't use Facebook I did find a webpage of how to remove games, this should work for both IOS and Android connect apps. This should in theory also apply to Facebook Canvas version. I am unfamiliar with this but wanted to include it.
Facebook instructions:
Apple ID Instructions:
For my Mochlings who use Apple ID, after a bit of research I found how to disconnect it, in fortunately 4 easy steps!
When you signed in with your ID the first time the black button (In the reference image) would have changed and said it's connected instead of 'Sign in with Apple', tap it again to disconnect and follow on screen instructions
Next, go to your Apple settings and find Sign in with Apple, it will show all apps that you use Apple ID with
Tap on the Dear Otome section. As the app has been removed from app stores it won't show the icon but it will still show your information
Finally, scroll down and tap Stop Using Apple ID and follow the instructions on screen.
and for all of you who never connected to the app? You don't have to do a thing! Just save your CG's and wait for the app to shut down. Then, after October 28th simply delete the app (or apps for my android folks)
NOTE: Also! Just because you disconnect your account, progress doesn't seem to disappear at this time, so if you end up doing that first before saving the images you should be fine until the app shuts down! This is just my observation from testing it on my own device, so proceed with caution! ⚠️ I cannot guarantee that it won't erase progress from your device!
All in all this is only my recommendation, you don't have to save anything but for myself I thought this would be easier to transition away from the game and enjoy my last moments with it. I hope this helps you prepare for the end of an Otome era...
Now go forth and use up your tickets, finish your mini games, enjoy your last few dates and don't forget to tell them you love them! T_T Goodbye Shall We Date.
Did you have a favorite? I'd love to hear about it! Also let me know if the instructions were helpful, feedback is always appreciated!
I haven't had a chance to finish my research but we have lost another Otome, Arithmetic's Cinderella Contract! T_T this year is a sad one for Otome it seems...
I will have a post up about it once I finish the draft.
