Welcome to the Afterlife

On one of her regular walks through campus, the silverette spotted someone she couldn't exactly recognize. Walking a bit closer, Kanade tilted her head slightly to the right as she observed the newcomer. She gently tapped the person's shoulder, “Hello.”

I have a question for the whole brigade, have you ever heard of "Aokigahara" near Mt. Fuji? I heard its a pretty creepy forest and possibly a "heavan's gate" to other places. Seems interesting to me. Would you ever investigate a place like that?

Kyon: I've heard of that. That's where everyone goes to commit suicide, isn't it?Mikuru: That sounds so scary! I wonder what would bring those people to think they had to die specifically there...Haruhi: Probably because it's so dark!Kyon: And how would you know that?Itsuki: Have you been, Suzumiya-san?Haruhi: No, but I've done my research on it! You always have to be prepared for stuff like this that pops up. ::proudly:: It's always been creepy and sort of darkly interesting to me, but this is the first I hear of it being a 'heaven's gate' to other dimensions!Kyon: Is that really a likely option, though?Mikuru: M-maybe that's why they go there to commit suicide...!Haruhi: Exactly right, Mikuru-chan! You're thinking along the right lines. Summer break's soon, though, right?Yuki: In approximately twenty-two days. Excluding Sundays, nineteen days remaining.Haruhi: Maybe we'll take an SOS Brigade vacation there this summer!Kyon: Maybe we can just stay home and not visit the creepy suicide forest?Haruhi: Objection overruled!
