Ottila (she/her)

Ottila is incredibly shy, and she has problems expressing herself. She often tries to be the voice of reason and keep the other Kwamis in check, but more often than not she ends up following the others due to peer pressure. Also, due to not being able to express what she wants to say properly, the other Kwamis often misunderstand what she truly wants and believe that she is a willing participant in their mischievous activities.

TDMB — Let's talk about the kwamis' powers

Okay, so now it's time to talk about the kwamis' powers. I know I've already described them before, but now I want to talk more about how they work and how they can be used.

Ottila - Killjoy

The Swan's power is similar to the Pig's Power but they have different effects. After the holder activates Killjoy, a small box will be created in front of the target. Unlike Gift, the box doesn't have any special features. Once the Box is opened an image will appear in midair in front of the target's eyes.

The image created by Killjoy has the purpose of bringing pain and despair to the target. Meaning, that the image will show the loss of a parent, a friend, a close person betraying the target, a cherished object being destroyed, a loved one declaring their hatred towards the target, etc...

The image is displayed in black and white.

Another dangerous application of Killjoy is uncovering the identity of a miraculous user and incapacitating them at the same time.

Since people react to despair in different ways, the user may also not get an advantage from the use of the power, the image created may cause the target to react violently, or may internalize their pain. Though it might even break the will of others, making the target consider taking extreme measures.

Miraculous owners gain power with age, meaning they can maintain their transformations even after using their superpower and they can prolong the duration of it, and the number of times they can use it.

An adult user can conjure Killjoy several times though not at the same time.

Ottila without a holder would be able to conjure several Killjoys at the same time and they will be able to manifest in the real world, similar to how Sandboy's powers worked, but instead of manifesting the target worst nightmare, it will manifest an image that will give the target great despair.
