The Fiat 8V Supersonic Coupe was designed by Giovanni Savonuzzi and built by Ghia in an edition of 15 cars using Fiat’s "Otto Vu" chassis between 1953 and 1954. It was named "8V" because Fiat incorrectly believed Ford held a copyright on the term "V8". Now considered highly collectable, examples sell for in excess of $2 million at auction.
