James Gulliver Hancockās illustration was translated into ceramic mosaic and handmade ceramic tile by Miotto Mosaics and Frank Giorgini for āConnecting Cultivating Communitiesā (2018) at the LIRR Merrick station, while Otto Steiningerās āMTA Universeā 2018 art card appears in subway cars all over NYC.
New art cards have started to appear in subway cars across the city! In Otto Steiningerās āMTA Universeā the subway travels through the galaxy of New York City with playful destinations like Coney Island at the forefront of the imagined space shipās journey.
Itās an Honor!Ā Artwork by Dan Funderburgh, James Yang and Otto Steininger, commissioned by MTA Arts & Design, is being honored by the Society of Illustrators for their Illustrators 61 Exhibit, opening tonight, January 11!
