Jeremy Gilbert is the younger brother of Elena Gilbert, and is from a founding family. His parents, Grayson and Miranda, died in 2020 after a car wreck, orphaning him and his sister. The death of his parents affected him deeply, and he dealt with the trauma with drugs and alcohol. Prior to her death, Jeremy had been in a relationship with Vicki Donovan. Her body being found and research into the supernatural inspired him to become a hunter, and he began training officially when Gerard Argent moved to Mystic Hills.

Tyler Lockwood is the step son of Mayor Natalie Lockwood, and is from a Founding Family. He is step siblings with Lydia Martin. He was previously in an on/off relationship with Vicki Donovan, before she “left town.” Tyler was not aware of the supernatural, but had been suspicious after Lydia was attacked at Founder’s Day. Over the holiday break, he was ‘attacked by a wild animal’ — When in reality he was bitten by Derek Hale, and joined the Hale pack, something he’s kept secret from his family.

Bonnie Bennett was born and raised in Mystic Falls, recently learning that she comes from a long line of Witches, dating all the way back to Salem. She recently discovered her supernatural heritage roughly a year ago, and has been working on her skills and medium abilities ever since. With what happened in the last year with the Vampire’s Tomb and the Kanima, Bonnie has kept her supernatural ability mostly to herself. She works to help maintain balance just as the Witches who came before her, all while trying to stay out of the path of hunters.

Stefan Salvatore is the younger brother of Damon Salvatore, and from a Founding Family. He was turned into a Vampire by Katherine Pierce in the 1860s, while she was in a relationship with both him and his brother. Previously he sustains himself on animal blood despite it making him weaker, in the hopes to have as normal a life as possible – But after having to consume human blood to save his life, he’s struggled with keeping control of his thirst. He’s has been in an on/off relationship with Elena Gilbert since his return to Mystic Hills just over a year ago.

→Candice Accola looks like Caroline Forbes, who is 17+, a vampire, and open.

Caroline was born to Bill and Liz Forbes in Mystic Falls and has lived in the town all her life. When she was young, her parents divorced and even though her bond was strongest with her father, she remained with her mother, visiting her father and his new partner on weekends. Her relationship with her mother was always strained, Caroline often shuts her out and behaves like quite the moody teenager in her presence. Caroline prides herself on being popular and appearing put together, she puts up a confident front but really, she is very insecure, often competing with her friends, especially Elena. She strives to be the best of the best, leading the cheer squad, setting up a 'Go Green' campaign and throwing herself into every school activity she possibly can. She is an overachiever and tries to be the best at everything, hoping that it will boost her own confidence in herself. She is prone to jealousy, particularly towards her friends, but it all stems from her own insecurities which she'll do anything to mask from those around her. At times, she can seem insensitive and bitchy, but it is mostly another act to hide her true self from others.

Is struggling with the fact that her boyfriend is gone, and that Klaus is in his place- It's become hard for her to be near Tyler's body, now that she knows who is really inhabiting him.

Despite the fact that she knows that Klaus 'killed' Tyler, she can't help but feel thankful that he's still around. She knows that he's in love with her, and would do anything to protect her- Plus, it keeps Elena happy, because Stefan and Damon are still around.

Caroline is growing closer with Stefan, as they are both trying to help Elena deal with being a vampire. She's spending so much time with him these days that some people that don't know any better are wondering if the two of them are dating.

Like his brother Damon, Stefan was transformed into a vampire by Ms. Katherine Pierce, his first love. Stefan fell in love with her the way you fall asleep- slowly, and then all at once. Or at least, that is how he'd describe it if asked. Stefan was born in the early 1850's/late 1840's, and like his brother was incredibly sophisticated. But Stefan also dreamed of leaving Mystic Falls, of finding adventure in the world around it. His father was a member of one of the Founding Families, and that gave him and his sons importance, prestige, and expectations. Stefan lived up to those, and wen above and beyond them also.

After being transformed into a vampire, Stefan became what is considered a 'ripper'- a vampire that kills it's victims, but then feels remorse. He was addicted to blood, and was unable to stop, until he met eventual close friend Alexia Branson, a vampire that showed him how he could live a relatively normal life if he fed off of animals, not humans. Stefan relapsed a few times, but Alexia always showed up to help him return to himself.

Stefan returned to Mystic for unknown reasons, but Elena ended up being incredibly lucky that he did, as he was the person that saved her from her death.  After that, he stayed hidden, watching her from afar, until he decided that he had to know her. They eventually fell in love, until an incident where Stefan returned to his ripper self in order to save Damon from dying. Elena fell in love with Damon during that time, and Stefan lost his humanity, destroying and feeling remorse, over and over again. But he returned to Elena and Damon, and gradually his humanity returned to him- and then the accident that Changed Elena happened.

Stefan wishes that he had saved Elena, so that she wouldn't have to be a vampire, though he's glad he saved Matt, because Elena would never have been able to forgive him had he not.

He's secretly upset that Elena won't follow the bunny diet- But he pretends not to care, so as not to alarm her.

His feelings for Katherine are gradually returning, as he is spending more time with the vampire, but he doesn't know what to make of it- He is definitely still in love with Elena, but there is something about Katherine that intrigues him, something he never really noticed before.
