Upon recent developments, as well as information, this roleplay will be put on a hold. As much as it pains me to say, we have come across some---unapproved writing and have chosen to wrap up this current event and close the doors for a period of time.
We aren't removing Only Time Will Tell, nor are we permanently closing the doors, we are just---"weeding out the weak" so to speak. We are sorry for those that have grown to love and cherish this roleplay, and it is killing me to write this, but what we've seen this past week has been unforgivable. Our characters took months to create, and we cherish their originality, and we don't appreciate what has happened to them outside the rpg.
We are sorry for those who have been active, and have shown that you still care for this, but we can't keep this roleplay open any longer, for the time being. So after the event is wrapped up, we'll be closing shop; in which you can choose to stay and wait it out, or you can leave, which is your choice. But we hold rights to every pre-made character bio, and we expect a little recognition if you choose to carry on the bio created to another roleplay.
We will still check in on this account from time to time, and we will be more then willing to chat with you all if you want, but we won't be accepting applications or plot ideas. I'm sorry, but it has to be this way.
Just some updates and upcoming changes for you to all look forward to!
Hello everyone! Let us just start off and thank you for your continued participation in OTWT! You have all done amazing with your plots, with including our new players, and with handling the stresses that come with College finals weeks (whether you are in college or not!)
We wanted to take this time to talk about some issues that have arisen and been handled, as well as discuss some slight changes to prevent these from happening further!
So as you all know we have recently asked a player to leave the site because of some rule violations. Please understand that is not something we actually enjoy doing, but it is something that we will be enforcing from now on. The rules we have set in for the site are there to regulate activity, ensure cohesiveness among the group, and keep the plot driving forward. So from this moment on we will be holding you all as accountable as ever when it comes to these rules. We are by no means going to start kicking people left and right. This is just that reminder that we will be holding you all accountable. And by all means, hold each other accountable. If you see someone godmodding for example, please message them and tell them so. If you do not feel comfortable with confrontation, then bring it up to an admin and we can handle it! Please feel free to message this about these issues, that is why we are here! For more clarifications on the rules you can find them here (RULES) they have been recently updated, and some additions were made. So please re-read over them so you don't break one.
And on the note of godmodding, there has been a lot of questions in regards to species lore! Well, we strive to keep our lore as up to date as possible, but as more comes out of the woodwork with each episode, we are delayed some. We are happy to announce that the current facts list is completely up to date with current changes, so please re-read through it so you can get a better grasp of your characters and others characters. (Weaknesses, strengths, etc.) You can find that link here (RAWR)
We have also updated the FULL MOON list, and will have graphics posted each moon so you can remember that your characters might be acting a tad bit different on that day! Along with eclipses, both solar and lunar!
In regards to the most recent opening of our Allison Argent, we wanted to let you all know that her character has been given a soft reset of sorts. She is no longer engaged to Scott, they never had a child, and they do not live together. Her bio has been rewritten and updated for future applicants to use.
And finally, we have updated the application process! We have added a new part that allows for a more definitive vision of your character and where you want them to go. Each new player will fill it out like they do any normal application. And all current characters are required to fill one out so that you can better define where you want them to go and who they are! Once you have completed the new app, we will file it with your characters bio! This information is as follows, please be as detailed as possible as it only helps you to build your own character! And when your done please submit it HERE!

Another Kitsune! Kira is not alone anymore! We ask you to create the account within 24 hours and send a message to the main on the account to receive the OOC link. If you surpass the allotted time, your character will be reopened. Welcome to the family!
Below is the dialogue for the mini-event last night! I look forward to seeing you all tonight for the end of the event! (Threads should start at 5:00PM PST, and there will be a post on the main explaining what is happening.)
Zane: sat in the chamber, waiting patiently. It was earlier that they had used magic to disperse the letters. He knew it was risky, others would see them, but desperate times call for desperate measures. He looked to his left seeing Lucy entering the room, followed by the two wolves. "I am glad to see you accepted our invitation." Zane spoke as Lucy made her way closer to him, the two wolves across the massive chamber in the Museum. Zane shot them a smile. "Forgive us, but Carter will be running late. He has been taking care of other matters." Zane explained, with slight irritation. He knew Carter was out looking for his possessed cousin. He centered his gaze onto the book in Kacey's arms and waited for her to begin the explanation.
Kacey: "We didn't really have a choice, did we?" Kacey responded, on guard and still upset and angry that they'd basically been given an ultimatum of 'show up or else.' She didn't miss his glance to the book, and in response to it she subconsciously gripped it a bit tighter, giving him a distrustful look. She was planning on trying to use the book, but she needed to figure out when would be the best time to use it. She stared back at Zane, stubbornly raising an eyebrow and not saying anything. She didn't want to be here- if they wanted her to talk, they'd have to ask her direct questions.
Lucy didn't say anything to the guests, her back to them as she guided them into the main room. She could feel the anger still radiating from the wolf she'd slapped, which she was partially sorry for, she'd gotten a little out of control and her anger had shown through her calm exterior; but she didn't think too much on it, kept herself blank, kept her mind busy with other things so she didn't have to hear their internal ramblings, which she never wish she had that ability, gave her more of a headache then it did actual good. She pushed opened the doors and led them in, feeling them stop close to the entrance of the room as she continued, not saying anything to Zane as she walked to his side, standing a step behind him, her hands behind her back. She stared at the too, seeing the grip in the spell book tighten which made her sigh, dropping her head as she hid the roll of her eyes through the veil of her hair. She caught Zane's words, hearing about Carter which only then had she noticed his absence; she straightened her posture and glanced up at the witch in front of her.
Derek: met up with Kacey though they didn't have much time to talk before they were intercepted by Lucy, though she was shorter than them, she held herself as if she was taller than both of them combined, she knew how to hold herself, and Derek could give her props for. He followed silently behind her, his eyes going over the building as he remembered every door and hallway, just in case. He saw Zane come in view, putting himself one step in front of Kacey, as he promised, if things got out of hand, He'd get her out and he'd deal with what he could. She was their salvation, she had the key to restoring their home, and he wouldn't let a stupid council ruin it. He huffed, though he stood off to Kacey's side, he was still slightly in front of her, his eyes trained on both members. Derek nodding and turning to glance at Kacey, irritation clear on her face.
Zane: smiled at her clipped response, she had grown tough since that first day in the square. But he would not be deterred in his quest for knowledge. “So let us start from the beginning, since every other person in the town seems to have a different way of telling your story.” Zane explained, his hands moving in front of him gesturing to them. “You came from another world, appearing out of thin air in this town one day because your world died?” Zane asked. It was obvious he did not believe the story, he was making no attempt to hide it. It sounded to Wizard of Oz to be real. He kept his smile in place however as he moved forward. “Then you proceeded to continue through the factions in town, crossing every boarder we put in place to ensure the harmony. Breaking the curfew in place to ensure supernaturals continuing in some cohesive state within the neutral zones.” Zane let out a sigh as his eyes moved from one wolf to the other. “You two have almost been more trouble then you are worth, however that book in your hands still has me interested. So why don’t you both explain the story from your point of view. I am all ears.” He spoke with a grin.
Kacey: Kacey frowned as she realized that he didn't believe the story. She listened to his version of it. "Yeah, that basically covers it. Our world didn't just die, though. It was destroyed by you three trying to get rid of the Nemeton," she corrected. Apparently Lucy hadn't filled him in on what Kacey had told her, "A huge cloud of magic smoke or fog or whatever enveloped our entire version of Beacon Hills, and killed everyone. We then woke up here, surrounded by people who we had just watched die, but who were completely different people altogether in this version of the town." Her frown deepened as he mentioned the other things they'd done. "Yeah, well, you left us no choice when we were basically being hunted down by you three from the moment we got here," Kacey replied, avoiding saying anything about the book.
Lucy stayed where she was while Zane stepped away from her, her eyes watching between Kacey and the other wolf. She was listening to the questions, as well as watching for the other two's answers for them. Lucy didn't know what to expect or what would come of this whole thing, what Zane would do once he got the book, or got what he was after from them. Lucy turns, and walks toward the window, looking out as she would imagine it wouldn't just be these too that'd show, the flyers having gone and had been seen by practically everyone in town, and if Kacey was right, she'd have her vampire friends waiting. Lucy sighed heavily, irritated at Kacey's reply, it being one she'd heard too many times already, her hands curling into fists as she crossed her arms, glancing at the wolves again.
Derek: worked his jaw as he narrowed his eyes at Zane, his arms crossed over his chest as he held his tongue, and allowed Kacey to explain since it was more likely she would say it without losing her control like Derek would. He was already angry and on edge, he just wanted to go home. "What’s the point of explaining it when he isn't even going to believe us?" He glanced to Kacey, arching his brows at her.
Zane: “I apologize for our rash nature, but again had you decided to work with us from the beginning so we had to take matters into our own hands.” Zane explained as he walked around the room a bit, listening to her explanation. He was aware she left the book out of the explanation, but he saw the intention she had in that. He listened to Derek and chuckled. “Then give us something to believe. Lies are words, words, words.” Zane countered him with his own stare. “The truth is singular.” After listening the rest of the explanation he looked to Lucy. “And is that the truth?” Zane questioned. He knew the Fae could read minds, which meant she could sense if she was lying. He waited for her answer.
Kacey: "You all must have some really backwards logic if you think trying to mind control someone, kidnapping the other, and then hunting us both down is a legitimate way to make people want to work with you," Kacey replied testily, her annoyance and anger seeping into her tone. She glanced at Derek and sighed, but said nothing-- he was right, there wasn't a point. They'd obviously just brought them here because Zane wanted to know about the book, not because he was actually at all interested in hearing their story. She narrowed her eyes at Zane as he asked for something to believe. "Your name is Zane Sirius, you come from the Sirius coven in Boston. Your grandmother, Althea-- the author of the spell book I'm currently holding-- is the head of your coven," Kacey replied, wondering if he'd believe them if she showed that she knew stuff about him, like so many of the other people in this universe had, and somewhat sarcastically adding, "I'm also willing to bet you have just as much an affinity for tea in this universe as you had in ours... But who knows, maybe you've just replaced that addiction with one for dark magic, since that wasn't a thing you practiced in ours."
Lucy sighed, hearing the attitude among the two, her eyes analyzing the surroundings of the museum, before she heard Zane, snarky, which made her chuckle lightly to herself, her head turning to the two before looking at Zane and walking over to him. "Your mouth is going to get you in more trouble." She warned before allowing her thoughts to take in theirs, at first she got Zane's, since he was the closest, then the Male wolf in front of her, Kacey's thoughts bleeding into his as they were almost showing her images, memories, as well as telling her. She closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose, focusing on eliminating the thoughts, but then decided not to, but playing it off as if she had, still wanting to hear what they were saying, what they were planning. She looked up at Zane, nodding, "As far as I can tell, it's true."
Zane: “Interesting.” Zane said in reply to Lucy, focusing on them again. He gave a grin at Kacey, his mind curious about her knowledge of him. “You are correct about that. Which interests me, because my grandmother never gave me that book in this world.” Zane explained as he stood where he was.
Kacey: "Probably because it isn't a book that should be in the hands of someone who practices dark magic," Kacey immediately countered, still frowning at him. She glanced down at the book, figuring this would be as good a time as any to try to use it, since they were talking about it and it wouldn't be too suspicious if she made it look like she was going to open it to explain something. She quickly flipped to the page that the riddle had been on, wondering if she'd have to answer another riddle or if it would just work, and pushing aside the worry that it might not even work again at all.
Lucy watched Kacey closely, her eyes focusing on the book and then catching something about a riddle and then using the book, "Zane." She warned, her hand touching his forearm, moving forward before Kacey opened the book, her eyes falling on the page before she felt the wave of nausea hit her, before her mind altered, "Kacey....Derek?" Her eyes looking around as she looked up at Zane.
Derek: moved more in front of Kacey at Lucy's advance, hearing her move before she heard the flip of the pages behind him as he sighed, "Kacey." He felt a little nervous, unsure what she was doing and if Lucy was going to tell Zane and then what he'd to then. He saw calmness wash over their face in a rush, his eyes turning back and looking over the page before back at the two before Lucy said his name, "Lucy."
Zane: had a second to sense the magic, Lucy moving in front of him before the magic struck him. A vibration shot through his body, causing him to twist is face in confusion. He looked around the room, his gaze flickering to the bodies in the room, before settling on Lucy’s. Without hesitation he moved forward and wrapped his arms around her pulling her into his body. He was speechless for a moment as he held her, his chin on her head. “Is this a terrible time for an “I told you so”?” Zane asked as he remembered telling Lucy the smoke would not take them. His eyes finally settled on Kacey. “Glad to see the potion actually worked.” Zane spoke with a slight smile.
Kacey: Kacey noticed Lucy move to warn Zane before she opened the book, and had only a second to wonder how Lucy had known what she was going to do before the saw the change happen, and the real Lucy and Zane were standing in front of her. "Oh thank god," she replied, breathing a sigh of relief that it'd actually worked, but not really knowing what else to say as she stared back at him, looking slightly shell-shocked.
Lucy looked at the two people in front of her before Zane, which she was surprised as his arms engulfed her, her arms quickly wrapping around his waist as she laughed into his chest, "I think it is." She laughed as she turned her head to Kacey, a wave of guilt falling over her as she pulled away from Zane and moved to Kacey, wrapping her arms around her in an apology, "I'm so sorry, Kacey." She couldn't believe she'd hit her, feeling terrible about it, "I'm so so so so sorry for hitting you." she repeated pulling back, because she remembered that they hadn't actually ever hugged before.
Derek: was surprised, faltering before he took a step back, not feeling that threat anymore just as Zane took Lucy into his arms. "What is going on?" He was confused before Lucy hugged Kacey.
Zane: smiled towards Derek, and gave Kacey a wink. “The book is anchored to our world, similar to how you both are. Hence why when you transferred over, you retained your memories and yourselves.” Zane explained, giving Lucy a slight squeeze and letting her go. He moved to the book. “Don’t close it, bad idea.” He said as he gave her a side hug and continuing his explanation. “Since you figured out the riddle, sorry nothing tea related, the book allows for you to bring those that were in that world here for a short time. And if used on a larger scale, it will fix the world.” Zane explained. He moved back to Lucy’s side. “Any questions?”
Kacey: Kacey was surprised by Lucy hugging her, but she shook her head as the other girl pulled away, stating, "It's okay, it wasn't really you." Kacey listened to Zane's explanation, shaking her head as he finished. "Yeah, a few, actually. But I think the most important one right now is how on earth are we supposed to do that?" Kacey replied.
Lucy was apprehensive on how Kacey would react to her apology, or the hug, because she wasn't really comfortable because in a way she was still insecure around her. "I'm still sorry, I shouldn't have slapped you..." She bowed her head as she took a step back just as she let Zane speak to Kacey, looking back as he stepped up to her, she moved against him and took a breath, leaning into him, and glancing up at Derek, "I...I apologize for.." She avoided his eyes, embarrassed.
Derek: looked between them, looking down at the book, "So the book brings the real you's back?" He felt a little left out, not even sure what the book was at this point since Kacey never let him see it. He looked up at Zane as he saw Kacey ask the main question, "Which probably needs to happen soon." He wanted to go home, needed to go, this was not him home and he didn't want to be here anymore. His eyes dropping to Lucy, "Don't worry about it Lucy, just lets not mention it okay?" He didn't want her feeling bad about it, it was better to just forget.
Aylin: walked in to the meeting, grinning wide. "Hello everyone, sorry I'm fashionably late..." He looked around the room confused at everyone's surprised faces and happy seeming reunion. He took a step towards the group. "How've things -" he paused as he felt a wave pass through him, looking back up at everyone with a new perspective. This was the old Aylin. "Why... uh. Where are we?" He smiled shyly at everyone around the room, people he both knew and didn't know. He saw the book they were all around. "What's happening here? And what's this book?" He walked up slowly to get a better look, eyeing everyone curiously.
Cassandra: In a manor filled with vampires, Cassandra was used to knowing where everyone was and everyone was going nearly all the time. She had seen one of the invitations that was meant for Kacey and when Aylin had left right around the time the meeting had been stated to begin she couldn’t help but give into her curious nature and follow him to see where he went. She had stayed a decent distance behind so he didn’t notice the trailing and Elijah accompanying her just because that was usual for him. She allowed Aylin to walk into the building and gave him a good thirty seconds before she strolled in herself. Her mouth opened to introduce her own presence with a rude comment before the magic of the book hit her full force. She blinked as her new eyes quickly took in her surroundings and the people around her. “So, what have I missed?” she questioned as she shook her head automatically her being in a new body even if it was just like her own still a bit startling. Her eyes fell on Zane immediately as she looked around the room. It felt like she hadn’t seen him in months and their last interaction had been such an awful fight that she couldn’t help but have a thousand emotions flow through her due to his being here alone.
Elijah: followed as normal. His sister led him along in an attempt to subtly follow Aylin, but Eli did not understand why. If Aylin focused he could with no doubt hear them. He was on Cassandra's heels as she entered the room, the magic striking him as it did her. He shook his head and looked to Aylin, a devilish smile playing across his lips. He gave the vampire a slight wink and moved up closer to his sister.
Zane: watched the vampires enter the room one right after another, processing as he could. He remembered socially detached Aylin from his shop, but he still seemed more progressive on the social front since that day. Kacey must have been doing wonders for his social life. When Cassandra walked in, he felt a ball in his gut. He had last argued with her, and then they died. He was trying to absorb the feelings as they came but couldn't focus. He finally looked to Kacey.
"Then it’s the choice you have to make. This town or ours." Zane said as he looked to her, the sorrow almost palpable in the air. "And I know that is an unfair choice to put on you two, but it was all I could do." Zane finished as he leaned his head against Lucy's, considering it might be the last time he got to do it for a while.
Kacey: Kacey just stared at Zane, not knowing what to say. The choice was obvious-- she would choose her town over this one in a heartbeat-- but she didn't want to be responsible for the destruction of an entire town just because three of the people in it had made a terrible mistake. She stared down at the ground, feeling her eyes water again, and didn't even bother to glance over at them as Aylin, and then Cassandra and Elijah, walked in, too upset about what Zane had just told them they had to do to even offer them a greeting. "How am I supposed to get the Council to bring you all back if they know that doing so will destroy this town?" she finally questioned, sounding a bit broken, but her decision obviously made.
Lucy turned to the door, smiling as Aylin walked in, though she remembered their conversation earlier, which was embarrassing, but she smiled in greeting as she then saw the following two people filing in, smiling at Cassandra before being confused as to who the last person was, never seeing him before. She hated putting this on Kacey, but her eyes turned to Derek, he wanted it, he wanted it badly and she could understand why. She looked down as she sighed, feeling the weight of the option fill the room. She felt Zane rest his head in hers as she wrapped her arm around him in a small hug. "What if she just opens the book again and we're around?" She asked, looking up at Zane, "Wouldn't that work? We are willing to do it, why waste time with our mean selves?" She asked, finding that would be easiest, but didn't know if it was necessary.
Derek: looked at everyone and saw how they were reacting to the news and he could just see on Lucy's face, the way she was looking at him that she knew that he was going to agree, as much as it made him feel horrible, he had nothing else to lose, he lost everything and this was the chance to get it back. He ignored the company as he thought about it, Thinking over exactly how they could get the council to agree, "Wouldn't that take the normal you’d out as well? Since you're here, and you die wouldn't that make you dead forever?" He answered Lucy with his own question.
Aylin: Aylin was trying to pick up the pieces of their conversations. He had realized, as the spoke that they were in some sort of other universe, and remembered the strange way he had acted here. He smiled back at Lucy, before averting his gaze, embarrassed by remembering their last conversation. Aylin tried to use his keen observation skills, having honed them over the years of being alone. It seemed they were finding a way back to their own town. And the way Kacey was talking it sounded like they had to destroy this one in order to do so. He listened to Kacey, realizing the open book was the cause of his return. He looked to the book as he listened to Lucy's explanation, thinking about the implications. He looked up to Lucy, knowing full well that what he was going to say was both true and painful for everyone here. "Lucy... No" he shook his head, looking down before looking back up at everyone, more sure of his decision. "If what I'm guessing is true, and we have to kill this world to go home...." he stared at the book. “Then it cannot be our decision. The people of this world must decide that." He looked to Kacey, tears starting to form. "Kacey... I believe in you." He smiled sadly. "You can do this..." Aylin moved forward swiftly, shoving the book so that it fell to the ground, closing.
Cassandra: Even thought they hadn't been around each other for hundreds of years, Cassandra could pick up on where Aylin was going with this conversation before he actually acted on it. "Aylin...." she cautioned as she tore her eyes away from Zane and Kacey and she turned to watch him carefully. She watched him move but before she could jump to stop him it was too late. The book falling, closing, and the world in front of her disappearing completely as the original inhabitant of this body came back in control.
Elijah: was examining the others in the room, listening to the commentary. “Personally, although you may not want to listen to me because of my lack of magic know how, but I preferred the other world.” Eli explained, thinking about all the experiences he had. This Eli’s memories were fond, but not the same rich experiences he was used to. He looked to the eyes in the room. Aylin speeding past him. “Here we go again. “ Eli muttered as he felt the spell disappear. He examined the room, his eyes finding Aylin immediately. This warm confusion had happened once before, in the room with Kacey.
Zane: nods at what is being said, trying to process everyone’s requests. “Lucy may be right, ourselves might not be up to, but they might not have to be involved if you leave the book open.” Zane said with a nod in their directions. He looked to Derek. “No, because our physical selves are anchored in the other world. Once you and the book cross over, so shall we.” Zane explained as he looked to the vampires in the room, their reactions were going to make him the most nervous. He listened to Aylin’s response, shooting his hand out as if to catch the closing pages. He could feel the cool darkness of the spell taking over as he faded away. Sudden confusion hit him as he looked around at the vampires in the room. “We have more guests it seems.” He said, motioning for Lucy. “And what do we owe the pleasure.”
Kacey: Kacey hadn't expected anyone in the room to shut the book, and Aylin had moved too quickly for her to react in time. She felt the book go toppling to the ground, and immediately reached forward to try to catch it, but didn't quite do so in time. Quickly, she moved to grab the book, holding it tightly again. She wanted to open it again, but knew that it wouldn't stay open for long while Aylin was here. She glanced at Derek, giving him a questioning look and trying to figure out what to do.
Lucy smiled softly that her idea had been one that could possibly be helpful, she could feel the heaviness of the room, the thoughts meshing together as well as memories, they were too quick and too much in a rush she winced slightly, shutting it off, closing off their thought's access to her mind as she lifted her eyes to hear the last of Aylin's speech, the book sliding across the floor before the pages fell closed before the cover. She felt heavy and the nausea before nothing. Her eyes moving to Zane, retracting her arm from his waist and taking a respective step back, confused and startled at the added company, her hard stare falling on Kacey, "What exactly is this?!" she spoke hard, accusing her of calling in her reinforcements. Lucy's eyes raised to the vampires, her eyes analyzing their intentions.
Derek: felt a sudden rush of panic before a collective confusion, from all of them, his eyes watching everyone fall back into their normal personalities, his eyes side glancing at the vampires before falling on Kacey, shrugging at her quiet question, "You heard what he said, let them decide." He offered as he touched her arm, his eyes telling her that she needed her rebellion to go home, and that the three vampires were the start of it.
Aylin: Aylin smiled again at everyone around the room. He furrowed his eyebrows, realizing that he didn't remember moving forward, and people had shifted positions. "What just happened...?" he asked with a tilt of the head. He shrugged it off, looking back and forth between the two parties. Aylin was confused by Derek's statement but didn't question it, but turned to Zane to answer his question. "Here to contribute of course!" He winked, before turning to Kacey. "So! How can we... they... undestroy your town?" He raised his hands as a grandiose question. "That is what we're here about, right?"
Cassandra: "Decide on what?" Cassandra questioned as she took a step forward towards where the two werewolves and the council were standing, her eyes narrowing as she observed those in front of her. She wanted a truthful answer, not another lie from the council that had lied all too often, before she decided on how to proceed in this situation.
Elijah: stood stoically behind this sister, keeping Aylin in view. Some part of him wanted to reach out and pull the vampire back behind him. To safety. But he watched as he energetically explained in front of them all, his sisters face a mask of confusion. He waited silently for their next move.
Zane: kept a somber face as he regarded his companion and those in the room. He was waiting for the discussion that Derek was promising them. He steadied his hands however, suddenly acutely aware of the vampires in the room. He kept his eyes on Cassandra specifically. “If we destroyed their town in the spell, it won’t be easy to bring it back.” Zane was aware of the price of this magic that the town would not survive. It was no different than resurrection magic, how to balance the scales of life you need to give a life. So in order to bring the town back, they would need to sacrifice the town.
Kacey: Kacey could hear the accusation in Lucy's tone, but she ignored it, instead glancing from Derek to the vampires, and then back to Zane. She didn't see any other way out of this. "It's not a question of 'if'-- you did do it, Lucy just told you we were telling the truth," she responded to the witch, standing up a bit straighter, "So it's your responsibility to fix it, however difficult it may be. Otherwise, these people have to be comfortable in the knowledge that they're not only being controlled, but also that they're being controlled by a group of people who destroyed an entire town, claiming thousands of lives... And all for the sake of destroying the Nemeton-- the one source of power strong enough to bring back their relatives, which is literally the only reason the vampires have stuck around here this long." She was riling them up on purpose, but she made sure everything she said was true, so that none of them could catch onto this fact.
Lucy grew angry, that was information not to be thrown around to the public. She took a step forward, pushing her aura out as a warning, like she had with Kacey when she'd grabbed her. She looked between the guests and then to the wolves, she could see what she was doing, could see her try to get to vampires personally, "Zane." She warned, she could see it, the spark, Kacey would start the rebellion, and she was planning to start one. "You better rethink your plan princess." She spat the nickname, angry all over again.
Aylin: watched the hostility increase, trying to catch up with what Kacey was saying. He stopped when Kacey started talking about bring back their relatives. "Kacey... I don't think that's exactly true." Aylin turned to Eli, sad to have to bring up this topic in this way. He wanted to talk about it in a softer way. "It... It's not possible to bring back a life without giving up a life in return." He addressed everyone in the room, though he looked at Eli, sadness tinging his eyes. He frowned slightly, before turning back to the main group. "Honestly I'm not completely caught up here. But I think there's some misunderstandings here." He looked between Kacey and Lucy. He had just met Kacey but she knew she was kind. And Aylin strongly sympathized with Lucy, living a life misunderstood, her work constantly criticized. He smiled to the fae, trying to calm her. "Lucy..." he trailed off, not sure what to say before turning to Zane. "You said the process wouldn't be easy? Why? Lay out the block here because I think some of us are missing something." Aylin eyed Cassandra, making sure that she wasn't getting too hostile and getting ready to restrain her if needed.
Cassandra: Everything was happening so fast that it was almost hard for Cassandra to process but the one thing that stuck out to her was all she needed to hear to make her instantly enraged. Her eyes darkened as she bristled, staring at the council as if the devil himself was in the room. For a moment she stood completely still, to the point where her heart beating felt almost out of place with how little movement was in the rest of her body, before she leaped forward to try and cross from where the vampires were standing to where the rest of them were hoping that if she was able to break at least one neck that the spell wouldn't be able to be completed.
Elijah: sensed the aura radiating from Lucy, centering his shoulders and looking to her. He knew a threat when he saw one and was preparing when he felt Aylin begin to pull back. They were a bit outmatched and these two had the advantage of being at home. Eli felt Aylin’s eyes fall to him as he explained the rules regarding resurrection. He kept his face hard as the information settled in, anger and sadness rising inside of him. He had just enough time to sense his sister’s emotions, as he jumped forward. He wrapped his arms around her tightly, the bond that his skin on hers created flooding her immediately. “No.” Was all he could get out in time, as he felt the emotions push into his sister. He was attempting to stop the bond, but was more focused on holding his sister back.
Zane: watched as everyone began to discuss, and the room spun out of control quickly. He was listening to Kacey one minute, seeing her point of view. As well as seeing the way out. It was not the cleanest path, it would require a lot of death. But, he had not been afraid of getting his hands dirty up to this point. He was already forming a plan in his head as Cassandra lunged forward. Zane was quick, preparing to slam her back, but noticed Eli wrapping himself around her. Zane looked to Lucy and back to Kacey. “We can assist to get you back to your home.” Zane explained, wanting to remove himself from the tight situation they had worked themselves into.
Kacey: When Lucy sent her aura out and then spat out the nickname at her, Kacey's eyes immediately went red, sensing a threat and preparing for whatever was to come. The room was thrown into chaos, as Kacey had expected it would, creating enough pressure to make Zane come to a quick decision, which is what she'd wanted. "Aylin, could you and Eli get Cassandra out of here? Please?" she asked nicely, knowing that Cassandra would be after the Council now, adding, "So we can try to figure things out."
Lucy stared directly at Kacey, seeing her react before Cassandra took her attention. Her energy flowing down into her hand, her palm warm from the awaiting light, prepared to stop Cassandra but the vampire she hadn't met grabbed her in the nick of time. A sickening smile appeared on Lucy's lips as she pushed back her light and watched the others file out of the room, her attention falling on the wolves before she rolled her eyes. Shaking her head and turning away from them, moving back to the couch, where she took a seat, "Yes, let's figure this out, or are you planning on using your friend as a rabid dog to form us how you please? Because I have no problem with making sure he doesn't take a step toward us." She leaned back on the couch, resting her feet on the ottoman, staring at their guests.
Cassandra: As Elijah had grabbed Cassandra she had expected to be held back but what she hadn't expected was for the shock of emotions to pass through her body. She wasn't sure what caused it but as soon as her brother touched her a rush of a million different feelings rapidly consumed her. The speed of it all was too much and before Cassandra could even speak or fight against Elijah her world went dark as she slumped, fading into the blackness that consumed her.
Elijah: caught his sister as she collapsed in his arms, quickly hoisting her into a hold. Eli was cradling her close as he glared forward at Lucy. He allowed Aylin to do the talking in this situation, as he stepped backwards towards the door. Aylin squeezed his shoulder as he made his way out of the door gave him some added comfort. But it still could not stop the wall building within; his sisters could only be brought back with sacrifices. A detail Tobias left out. He planned to sacrifice them, which Eli was not certain of but the pieces seemed to fit all to well.
As the vampires retreated, Aylin’s reassurances sank in. Kacey and Derek knew they had to do this, and Zane was actually working it out in his head as they further explained their story. He knew what it meant for the town, the ending it brought for them. But villains never had a happy ending and this was a town full of them.
