Tavern Talk | Killian and Ariel

Ariel walked down the street, pulling her coat around her tighter because of the strong wind. She walked up to the door of the tavern and pulled the door open. In the window hung a sign that read: Help wanted.

Ariel had wanted to get a job for some time and finally decided she would start looking. Eric insisted that she really didn’t need one, but she was bored. Her whole day consisted of her hanging out in Eric’s apartment, by the docks or at Granny’s. She needed something to do.

She knew the job was bartender, and though she didn’t know anything about alcohol or the like, she was hoping she could maybe sweet talk the owner into giving her a waitress job.

She stepped into the tavern and immediately the sound and smells hit her. It smelled very vaguely of alcohol and there were men and women everywhere, drunkenly yelling and laughing.

Maybe this is not quite the job for me, she thought. But she went up to the bar anyways to ask about a job.

Behind the bar was a man with dark brown hair. She reached across the bar and tapped on his shoulder.

"Excuse me, I'm here about the job."

Miss Swan is a beautiful women, with good form, and a good heart. I do feel affection for her yes, but I do not believe she feels the same way back. Only time will tell, my dear.
