OUAT Vidders Questionnaire!

1. Your OUAT/video blog name (a few of you use side blogs for OUAT/Vidding) I use this one, amethystkat

2. How long have you been vidding? I used to make videos for other things all the time from about age 15... but for OUAT specifically(mostly CS), for about a year and a half now.

3. What software do you use? VideoPad Video Editor (but before that, Windows Movie Maker)

4. How did you get into vidding? I just started playing around with a video maker and became quite good at making basic videos and then I branched out from there.

5. Any hot tips or tricks you discovered and want to share? If something isn’t working, try switching it up, or leave a hole in the video until you find the right thing to go in the blank space(hope that makes sense). I’m still learning.

2. How long have you been vidding?: a year a few months

3. What software do you use?: Sony Vegas pro 10 

4. How did you get into vidding?: there was this song that i thought really fitted for CS (dancing when the stars go blue) and no one had done a video for it yet so i decided to do it and after that i decided to continue (that video is now on private because of how bad it is, lol)

5. Any hot tips or tricks you discovered and want to share? I suggest planning a video before going for it. I usually get a copy of the lyrics and then by each line say which clip i’ll be putting with that line, just so if you go away from editing for awhile and then come back and forgot what you wanted to do (it’s the most infuriating thing when you know you had a good idea for something but can’t remember what it was)

3. What software do you use? as of now, I use Sony Vegas

4. How did you get into vidding? saw some really good videos about my favorite shows and thought I’d give it a shot

5. Any hot tips or tricks you discovered and want to share? it usually helps to pick the song first (and then pick the subject matter), and making lists of scenes or moments you want to include is a good way to not get so overwhelmed while editing
