the absolute best part of chidi and eleanor’s relationship in any universe is that they are the embodiment of the quote “they fell in love the way you fall asleep, slowly then all at once.” like i’ve seen people seeing there’s no real lead up to eleanor falling in love in this tl and she’s just saying she is bc she has afterlife memories. and i’m just gunna say why are y’all so against people falling in love with their best friends ? i’m gunna argue that the afterlife memories only gave eleanor the perspective to realize what was happening in her life rn. and eleanor has grown so much more as a person then she has in previous timelines and she realizes that she needs to be honest with not just herself but also with the people she cares about.

i love tahani/eleanor too but chidi/eleanor is a beautiful love story that is always rooted in a strong friendship which is really the best kind of love story.
