jaesun stood still with his hands at his side. this wasn’t real, right? she didn’t utter those words to him. it had to be just a messed up nightmare that he couldn’t wake up from. he couldn’t feel a thing. not the tears that ran down his cheeks, or the way that his chest ached. he hated the fact that he couldn’t even feel the kiss that she gave him. their last kiss, he thought to himself before reluctantly pulling away from her. 

“stop that. i don’t want to hear... any of that right now.” he said through clenched teeth, looking anywhere but at her. she just broke up with him over the fact that her parents disapproved of him and saw that they had no future. “fuck that ‘maybe one day it’ll be okay’ bullshit. we were already okay! we were more than okay, aejeong!” his voice now slightly rising as he continued to speak, taking a few more steps away from her. his hand frustratedly rubbing at his eyes, urging himself to stop crying. “you’re sorry? what are you sorry about? for hurting me? for walking away? because you could have stopped this. you don’t want this at all but you’re letting it happen anyway.”
