man, your comment on today's page it's only now dawning on me. antaras wasn't turning the world upside down for his new child, that was just him accidentally talking himself into a deal that eve forced his hand on. he only wanted oudia back and his fawn would have just been a bonus ultimately. christ no WONDER he's so mad at her, until now it feels like we were led to believe this was JUST about the kid and now the reveal that the one he actually wanted is essentially nothing more than a sockpuppet now for eve to prod at him for his mistake in pulling her out of the sky to do something that was ultimately impossible. I was a little bit confused about the recent page. Eve can't bring Oudia back because her halv is dead. But deer can live just fine dead halvs? Like helevise, gitta and prue? What makes Oudia the exception?
Well! The biggest and most dramatic exception is that Oudia is actually dead. It requires the action of bringing her back, while deer who just lose their halves can just continue their merry way without Eve's input.
I love Oudia's little muzzle-quirk when she goes "It *has* been a pretty mild winter."

We possibly could've avoided this comic if the deerkind had invested in competent therapists...
I have a theory that Oudia isn't dead but the fawn is. Otherwise I am unsure how she's able to still be there in her own body with Eve. Additional theory is that she's terminally ill and the fawn wouldn't make it full term while she's dying so Eve is the one who will bring them to full term, afterwards letting Oudia live out the last bit of her life and leaving a piece of her behind with the fawn.
