I agree that it's annoying that people very rarely like to default characters as trans women for characters that show they're more comfortable in a more feminine way, but do you believe that being nonbinary is a less valid identity? Is binary correct and we're all just playing pretend until we eventually get back into a different box?
I'm transfem, my girlfriend is transfem (with top scars because she didn't like the breast growth, which doesn't make her any less valid), the majority of transfems I know personally aren't binary. At least online.
Binary people are more common irl, binary people run our government. Binary people are in charge of every single facility, every moderator of human life, and honestly I'm more exhausted that people feel like they NEED more people in boxes than exploration outside of them. I don't think it's necessarily wrong to headcanon somebody as binary trans, but I don't think it's wrong for somebody to prefer nonbinary identities either.
hey so both of my posts talking abt the ralsei thing say that different headcanons/interpretations are fine . i have no issue with it, and i'd be perfectly fine with a nonbinary transfem ralsei--it isn't my personal headcanon but if it happened i'd still be happy about it ^^. my issue is with people refusing and hating on the possibility of a transfem character . not sure where you got the idea i think being nonbinary is invalid
i fall under the nonbinary umbrella myself (being bigender), and i don't believe in "identity validity" . if you identify as something, you're that thing in my eyes--simple as that .
i apologize if this comes off as rude, anon .
