You know 😌
Okay so I just watched Thor Ragnarok for the second time today and I’m not okay.
Can we talk about Loki in this movie for a minute? He breaks my heart more with each scene. Every little thing just kills me inside.
Let's talk about right at the start. When they go to Midgard? Look at how sharply he’s dressed, look at how upset he looks when those two fangirls ask for a photo with Thor. Like #look at how popular he is #please don’t let them notice me #I regret it #I can explain!
aND he could explain! His whole life was raised on a lie. He was raised on Asgardian beliefs - beliefs like he was the prince. He would one day be a king. And let’s not forget the most torturous of them all! He was told that Jotuns were inferior, terrible, less than humane, monsters. And then finding out he was one of them? Now he thinks these things of himself! And finding out the father you loved stole you for nothing more than leverage??? Can you even imagine??
Enough of that. And then when they go to Norway? When they go see Odin? DID YALL SEE OUR SWEET LITTLE ANGEL’S FACE WHEN ODIN SAID sonS? Plural. THe heartbreak came from the fact that Loki had abandoned the thought of this. He was a low life, a monster, a cruel species, nothing more than a war-torn savage! At least that’s what he thought! The idea of Odin actually liking him was unthinkable! Plus when Odin mentioned Frigga! And how proud she would be! Loki’s facial expression ripped my heart out! I just about started sobbing then and there.
After that let’s talk about when he comes to visit Thor while he was imprisoned. Right away. That’s his brother, who’s going through a tough time. Better go talk to him, make sure he’s okay. Something Thor never did. When Loki was imprisoned, Thor didn’t even bat an eye, but when Thor was imprisoned, Loki showed up right away to try and help him. And stupid Thor couldn’t even be grateful!
And then and then and then, Loki can hardly watch the fight. Sure he gets a kick out of Thor being swung around like he was back in Avengers, but other than that he’s sitting there at the edge of his seat, chewing on his sleeve in worry. What a little freaking angel, especially after Thor’s anger towards him for essentially killing Odin - which he did not! Did you fools not hear Odin say he liked it there?? But Loki hears Thor. When Thor jabs him about it you can see the visible regret and plentiful self-hatred stored up from all his years. #breaking my heart
Now we come to the elevator scene. I don’t think I even have to say anything about this. Thor is just ripping away at poor Loki! And if that witless oaf was paying any attention he could see just how much he was hurting Loki. I cried in this scene. I think everyone was, at least internally.
How about when he returned to Asgard? Those people would’ve followed him anywhere! And after everything that place - and Thor - put him through, no one would blame him for getting out of there and never looking back. But no. Loki returns to fight next to his brother that basically told him he was worthless and didn’t want to see him anymore because Loki loves his brother, and he will do anything for him.
And that is why I cry myself to sleep at night.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAZZA OF HOLMES CHAPEL
I went to his Wikipedia page and it now says:
Born: February 1, 1994 (age 20), Holmes Chapel, England
and I burst into tears and flames at the same time.
Currently tweeting Harry with positive things and telling him I love him right now. He doesn't need or deserve this kind of hate. He's done nothing but his job. He's such a beautiful person and he's done his best to stay true to us and we owe him that in return. We've seen what happens when he gets hate and I honestly cannot stand to see him that broken again. So you guys should tweet him positive things with me?
