For the Marked - Our Second Commandment
We have watched you, darling Children. We have watched you integrate amongst yourselves, protect one another and carry out Our will flawlessly. We have Rejoiced in your joining. We have sang your praises. But there are some who have felt regret laden their limbs. A hollowness in their heart where Our love should be. These Children know who They are. We are patient, but We are not blind. There is an end coming to resistance - yours included. The decision is here and your choice will be final;
Obedience or Oblivion.
Sacrifice to Us that which you hold most dear. Prove to Us your love and obedience and you will ever be in Our hearts. Deny Us and know the endless suffering of Our displeasure. Choose wisely, darling Children.

{Those who are Marked and currently trying to resist the Mark by either feeding sparse information to the Resistance, or refusing to join the Hivemind in its entirety are now given TWO OPTIONS: They accept fully or they are punished and cast out. The Marked are being commanded (asked, really, We are not forcing anyone to do anything) to make a sacrifice to the Faceless of that which they love most to prove once as for all where their allegiance stands. While obvious and a bit grandiose, killing someone is the first method one would assume when it comes to sacrificing. However, Sacrifice is defined as ‘the destruction or surrender of something for the sake of something else’ as well as 'an act of offering to a deity something precious '. This could mean a person, an item, a dream or even a location (say goodbye to the beach house). Any of these would be considered an act of sacrifice as the character has willing delivered that which they cherish the most right into the Facless’ hands (If they had hands). If the character will not comply with this command, they will effectively be ostracized from the Faceless and the Hivemind altogether. They cannot communicate to the others, they will not be able to pass the wards into the Safe Houses and they will not be given any further information to leak to the other side. They will be blinded and deaf to all things the Hivemind hears or sees and what the Faceless have to say to their Chosen. The pain from their habitual disobedience will become a constant companion until Their demands are met. It’s time to shore up the defenses and the Faceless are taking no chances going forward!
