ever since coming to the isle, roxx’s luck had been rotten. it took her considerable time to get used to the ways of survival, and she is still bad at it. practice makes perfect — that’s what people say — but roxx simply fails at step one. despite knowing she should do the opposite of what her conscience tells her, she consistently risks her life just to protect her rigid principles.

she sticks out like a sore thumb on the isle, and if not for xaviera, she would’ve been dead already. meeting xaviera has changed her life — the rose is as charming as she is cunning, as kind as she is cruel. the duality of her being is mesmerising, and roxx cannot help but grow increasingly fond of her.

but the isle is still the isle — auradon took away their sky, and they tried to take love from them too — whatever that is blooming between them must stay out of sight to be kept alive.

they meet in shadows for an hour or two, starting with roxx reading xaviera some of her favourite poems, then ending when xaviera leans in to kiss her goodnight on the lips.

There was something in the news yesterday about Robbie Williams and David Backham both realising how much children need protection (as part of a charity thing, I think) since they've had kids.

Guys, what kind of losers are you? I didn't need to have kids to know child abuse happens and that children need to be protected. Just because you banged a woman and dropped some semen in her uterus does not give you knowledge.

It just means you were dumb as bricks not to realise it happened before it affected you.
