Woot on your 10k! I just started c25k yesterday. I think my bones hurt from impact lol I'll get there though. Until then I'll keep checking your posts every morning on here and IG for encouragement. You rock, sister!

@hello-jesss tagged me in 6 things you probably don’t know about me. Thankfully I’m still pretty new so there should be lots you guys don’t know about me :) 

1. I’ve been a stay at home mom for about 3 years but I start with a new company on Monday (ahhhh) 

2. I’ve been dyeing my hair since I was 12 and I’m not even sure what my natural shade actually is anymore.

3. I am not super girly by any means but sometimes I give it a shot (and then remember how much more comfortable I am when I’m not lol) 

4. This is a separate blog that I started in Feb but I’ve actually been on tumblr for over 3 years now. (I’m a total nerd so if fandom is your thing then we should def talk!) 

5. I do not tan. I’m either pale or I burn and freckle. Those are my only options

6. I’m really bad at these things so even when you guys don’t really know me I still don’t know what to say lol. Ummm. I’m very close with my siblings. I’m the youngest of 4 and we get together as much as possible.

Sparking the Fire - Day 9

Weekly check in.

Well my goals haven’t quite been started yet  They start on Monday lol.  But I’ve been working on it, so that’s a start!

My partners are pretty awesome!  They’re doing well so that makes me happy.

What I’ve learned from other sparkers is that everyone is on their own journey, but in the end we’re all doing the same thing.  And helping each other and being there for each other is important.  So keep being positive and keep encouraging and your own journey will go well too!

I feel that last one is super important.  To me anyway.  I need to make myself happy in order to be happy.  Granted, I can get mad at myself, but at the end of the day, how I feel about myself is all that matters.

Tuesday 5th January - Time Management Tuesday

Today we want to know how you manage your time;

Do you make lists?  Kinda... I try to anyway lol

Do you have a journal, calendar or app that you use to organize your day? I use mfp, bodybuilding.com, and my phone at the gym to track my workouts.  I try to print things off to have charts to organise and whatnot but it doesn’t always work.  bb.com has my workout in a calendar already so I use that.  I use IG to post when I’ve worked out and what foods I’m eating so that helps a bit.

Do you have a specific schedule/routine that you follow?  No not really.  I have what workout I’m doing that day set already but my work schedule always changes so I have to work around that.

Can you recommend a book or a program that has helped you with Time Mangement skills?  Negative

I'm so not a cold-weather person. But heavychevydeerhunter is stoked because he won't have to go to work if we get the snow the news is calling for.

Haha! It's a great city, honestly! We are a small town surrounded by big towns, but the people try to keep it with a small town feel as much as possible. The city hall is awesome to work out in cos it has a raised wood floor! Real wood! And the auditorium is nice and large, easily fitting 20-30 Jazzercisers in there without a problem and the sound systems rocks, too! :)

Oh, and during the winter we have rotating art on the walls around us cos the art society does art contests in there about once a month! It's awesome!
