So, Ouroboros Protocol is discontinued after game three.

Firstly, I hope everyone involved is okay and I wish them all the best in future projects.

Now I’m going to be sad.

Ouroboros was not something I expected to enjoy, nor was it something I expected to be that important to me. Then I decided on a whim to binge like the first 3 sessions of game one from Manes perspective and I’m so glad I did.

Ouroboros, this silly little death game became a piece of comfort media for me that taught me a bit about myself.

Manes, unironically helped me process some things about my sexuality that I didn’t even know I needed to process. Yes the dumb horny jokes and kissing in a block game actually did something like that.

But outside of that, this series was interesting and clearly had so much effort put into it from everyone. It was ambitious and the story was fascinating even if we didn’t get much of it given to us. I hope some day everyone's story comes out in some way or other and maybe in the future Ouroboros will be seen to completion in some form. Until then...

I’m gonna miss Ouroboros, I’m gonna miss Manes (Oz and Emil you changed my brain chemistry), Ratchet, Red, IV and whatever the hell their game two dynamic was. I’m gonna miss Atlas being a menace to all.

I hope everyone had fun.

I mean it truly makes sense bc matt has the Devil Inside Him (according to himself, a devout catholic) and he is constantly struggling against a deep seated rage against the world that is Unfair towards people while elektra was also struggling against her desire to kill and maim but not because she thought it was wrong but because it would have made her dad sad. they both recognize in the other the deep seated desire to Destroy and both attribute it to the cause they are most familiar with. matt thinks elektra is angry at the world (because he is) and elektra thinks that matt, just like her, has Something Wrong With Him, and has to stop being nice and go apeshit. they are both of course wrong, and elektra realizes that she is wrong sooner than matt, bc she sees him and realizes that he can't let go of his moral compass, which means that they are fundamentally incompatible. matt takes far far longer to recognize that elektra could not give less of a shit about the world because deep inside he is ultimately convinced that if he is good enough he will get what he wants (in that case, comfort in the form of finally being put out of his misery mid sex. dying happy while she chokes him, making it so that he never leaves That Room (his ultimate dream))

last session of capture the flag on ouroboros tomorrow and i come to offer you all art because orb has been living in my brain rent free :)

Ratchet is my newest blorbo and he is such a lil asshole hehehe— I give you all some of the concept and art I’ve done for him!! All that you guys know about him right now is that he was a helicopter pilot and that “Ratchet” was his call sign! i can’t wait for you guys to find out more :)))

oh! And also here’s his terrible awful scar chart!! :D man’s is absolutely COVERED in burns among other things hehe >:)
