Ooh, that's an oldie. Didn't Katy Perry call her out directly after for harassing her during the whole Bad Blood era? Yeah, it's something she does so often, where she uses the aesthetics of feminism to escape criticism, especially when it's a woman who is marginalized. Meanwhile, Taylor knows good 'n' well that she leverages her wealth, fanbase, and position to maintain power over other women in the industry. That's not feminism.
It reminds me of when I'm criticizing Kate Middleton (or any royal woman who isn't Meghan tbh) and someone will come out and say "Why are you tearing down another woman?" As if we are not talking about the most privileged women in the world. There is nothing I could possibly do to "tear down" Kate Middleton because this isn't exactly an even playing field.
