OUT2 Endgame Epilogue

Epilogue for Channing below the cut

 Kotone Okinawa died when she was pushed through the portal.

 Ever since that day, no one spoke of Kotone, and the person that would have been her never spoke to anyone either. In her place, Channing Burke remained, peppered by questions of the terrorist attack on Hope’s Peak Academy and the supposed portal leading to the Marchen universe. Channing had nothing to say to this. She neither confirmed nor denied her classmates allegations that they had been taken to another world, nor the fact that the remaining students were dead. Eventually, Hope’s Peak and the press decided they would get nothing from her and let her be.

 Bennett Jones began a series of blog posts calling attention to Hope’s Peak’s scandals and calling the world to action. Channing continued to support her partner with all the love in the world, and it appeared that someone was helping Bennett obtain information and form new crackpot theories.

 Channing’s latest movie for Syfy was scraped due to production issues developed by Channing’s absence. Though Channing was only commissioned to write three scripts, she contacted her director months after the incident with Hope’s Peak about another script she had written and he bought it. The film Fungicide: Backwoods Terror released on Syfy to Channing’s biggest audience yet. The film was as cheesy as every other movie she made, and it was panned by critics for ripping off the idea of fungus zombies from the Last of Us. Channing denied this, saying her inspiration came from elsewhere.

 What made this movie so strong, however, was the heroine of the movie. While she started off as an alpha b**** destined to take off her shirt and die, she proved herself to be an outstandingly strong character who managed to grow as a person and overcome the monsters to become the movie’s final girl. Her name was Lily.

 Not long after the release of Channing’s movie, a new book hit the shelves of Japan. Written by a mysterious Hitomi Cho, the book detailed the psychological romance developed between a threesome of a ninja, a cyborg, and a let’s player. It wasn’t massively received, but the writing style and characters were praised.

 Channing never really kept up with any of the survivors aside from being in their presence during their stay at Hope’s Peak. She initially held herself responsible for the events, including the fates of Daisy and Elijah, but with Bennett’s help, she overcome those feelings. Bennett and Channing remained inseparable to the point of becoming married and having a daughter they lovingly named Daisy.

 And then, the most Despair Inducing Event happened...

Who The Fresh Heck Is This: The Musical

I’m hopping on the introduction bandwagon. A short post about me, the mun, and whether your oc might know Amaya. Also, a bit about her family and an explanation as to what exactly “Theatrics Master” means.

First off! For anyone I’ve not introduced myself to, I’m Jules! I’m fond of rp memes and general nonsense, and I use she/her pronouns. I’ll be in and out of the ooc chat occasionally. There’s a link to my “mun” page on the right side of Amaya’s blog if you wanna know my interests. I will say that like Amaya, I really like theatre of all kinds. I might cry about my spring play come March.

Secondly, does your oc know Amaya? If they lived in or near Kyoto, it’s probable. She earned her SHSL title through the shows she directed or stage managed in school. She directed her first show, Peter Pan, at 13, and then moved on to recreate a theatre club at a high school in the city of Kyoto. That year, they performed an original play written by Amaya’s friend and a musical version of Aladdin. The final year before she was accepted into Hope’s Peak, Amaya directed productions of Romeo and Juliet and Sweeney Todd. Both of these shows were sold out on the few nights that they ran, and Sweeney Todd was nominated for several national high school musical awards (her most known achievement). If your character enjoys theatre and lives anywhere within an hour of Kyoto, they might have gone to see one of her shows.

Now, about her family. Amaya’s brother, Kouta, is an upcoming figure in the music mixing world. His songs (mostly 8bit) have been posted online and in soundtracks for video games such as Pokemon and lesser known franchises, so your character may be familiar with the Tsukino name through him. He does not hyphen his parents’ last names together. Her mother is a small time actress in Kyoto, but she’s not very well-known. 

Lastly, you may wonder, “why the longass last name?” Amaya’s parents were in the final stages of getting a divorce as of her acceptance into Hope’s Peak and will be divorced when the game starts. She loves both her parents dearly, so she stubbornly stuck the names together. 

Amaya’s title as SHSL Theatrics Master includes the ability to perform both the tasks of Director and Stage Manager if necessary. DIrecting is pretty straightforward (message me if you’d like an explanation, though), but Stage Managing includes being responsible for planning and organizing the on stage actions of actors and coordinating the off-stage effects with the actors. She has also come up with ideas for props and stage construction for her shows, and she knows how to work tech equipment and just about everything else around a theater. Amaya is also skilled at enthusiastically explaining the difference between the words “theatre” and “theater”. To sum it up: SHSL Everything To Do With Acting.

>So I just wanted to make something very clear to you, in case you ever happened down this train of thought. While my outfit choices may cause me to have a bit of a scary aura, I am actually not a very scary person! The leather jacket and skeleton tights are... well, I am not sure how to properly explain this. While my personality may not match the the ferocity my outfit appears to present, I have always been drawn to a fashion sense that makes me more intimidating than I appear. I cannot say exactly why, but the aesthetic just appeals to me.
