Tick Tick Boom Easter egg #1:

Vanessa Hudgens plays one of Jonathan Larson's singers in Tick Tick Boom.

Where she's playing the main female role of Superbia. Like a lot of other casting in Tick Tick Boom, this is a reference to another Jonathan Larson show.

In the 2019 version RENT, she plays one of the main cast - Maureen. (And honestly gives a great performance)

She also played Mimi on Broadway, that performance is regarded as more "controversial", though it occurred at peak Vanessa Hudgens hate so that with a grain of salt. (I do think she was miscast though).

New song cover! Out Tonight from RENT!

Out Tonight was one of the first songs I ever recorded a cover of, when I was 14 and had been playing guitar long enough to figure out the chords. (Fun fact: it was also my audition song for the college I wound up going to!) It’s fun to come back to it with more experience and knowledge!
