#chaneltuesday! Fall 1992. Drenched with leather and tweed, with smatterings of floaty sheers, it's safe to assume Karl was feeling for a modern day Contessa, a Chanel Contessa. With its Spanish influences ( referenced by the use of capes and shawls, flamenco inspired dresses, hair adorned with large blooms and of course the closing looks in all shades of red ), it was a time in fashion, and especially runway presentations, that fashion was still all about fun. The supers had by now really come into there own, you had girls like Kristen McMenamy and Veronica Webb who really knew how to ham it up and bring fashion to life! Along of course with all the other top supers at the time, this sadly lacks in today's world of fashion, and I miss it. The fun of this collection was amplified with the use of oversized bags ( I mean, seriously large and over the top ), piled on jewels ( a house trademark, which made a comeback at the recent fall 2016 collection, yay!! ) and models actually smiling and enjoying themselves! The campaign featured Claudia of course, all big haired and gorgeous, everything early 90s fashion was about, something I wish could be revived into today's fashion..... For those who are remotely interested in fashion, and especially Chanel, check out the collection on YouTube. #chanel#larllargerfeld#kristenmcmenamy #veronicawebb#claudiaschiffer#lindaevangelista#christyturlington#evaherzigova#90s#vintage#outbackdreaming
