All Tae wanted to do was close his eyes and fall asleep. This was a lot more than he bargained for. More meetings, more documents detailing everything they had to do and oversee, more people to worry about. More work overall. He decided they should join the Kingdom to make life easier for his people, but Tae had no idea he would be making his life harder. Now he didn’t have to only worry about fighting and finding a place to stay at for a couple of days. He had to actually take part in creating a society that can survive something that destroyed all societies that existed before. It was definitely a challenge. There was so much to do. So many little things that could go wrong and bring this all to an end. He wouldn’t express it, but it worried him.
There was a map on his hand, it was the only map they had of the area and it had helped them a lot. Especially for them to plan their supply runs. “We need gas. For the cars. It’s almost running out and if something happens, we are going to need them.” he wanted to prepare for the worst case scenario. The closest gas stop had run out of gas recently and he was trying to find a solution. Risking going to the one further away would also be risking wasting the gas they had. “I have a migraine.” he complained, rubbing his temple. “I need to take a break.” he announced, putting down the map and finally looking at the other.
