eight minutes and thirty six seconds. that was the entirety of the time it took for padmé to run into the grocery store to grab a idiotic magazine for herself. a magazine that, if she hadn’t begged to get, might have saved her from the view she was experiencing in the current moment.
her caramel hues darkening at the deceptive view before her —— obi-wan, no longer in the driver seat of the familiar car they always found themselves in, however now against the asphalt with his breaths seemingly heavy and his hands rested upon his abdomen. the view was one that seemed surreal, almost unreal. a possible nightmare that seemed much too tangible to be a dream, however it didn’t prevent padmé from praying it was simply just a dream.
❛ obi-wan.. ❜ her voice smaller than she felt. the distance from where she stood to the place her lover seemed to lie upon the cold ground seemed much farther than it ever had before. her mind racing as her feet carried her in a way she couldn’t control, the stumbling of a running teenager with a mind clouded along with caramel hues threatening to lose tears that prominently stung.
knees trembling as they fell upon the crimson covered asphalt, her petite arms pulling a body so familiar into her arms and a reassuring smile ghosting a face that was evidently petrified.
❛ babe, babe.. stay with me.. ❜
