So question, are Damien/Melinda actually dead?? Like how do we know for sure they’re dead and are gonna stay that way?
If you couldn’t find them on the Ethereal Plane, then that means they are likely in the Outer Planes and can’t come back without literal divine intervention or something of equal power.

In other gaming news, my coworker got me into Outer Plane. The story is absolute ass, but the gameplay is ok. Which means I'm mostly likely gonna bail by next month if not sooner lol
