Outer Space Trash...
Day-to-day, we hear about chemical spills, plastic trash, atmosphere trash (contamination)... Just 64 yrs. ago, the only thing that rotated around Earth, was our Moon...! Now, “There are nearly 6,542 satellites orbiting the Earth as of January 1, 2021. Out of which 3,372 satellites are active, and 3,170 satellites are inactive (Outer Space Trash!). As reported in the Index of Objects Launched into Outer Space, issued by the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), there were 7,389 individual satellites in Space at the end of April 2021.”
What's more, there are around 34,000 pieces of space junk bigger than 10 centimeters in size and millions of smaller pieces that could nonetheless prove disastrous if they hit something else.
All of This created within ...64 years. hmmmmm
