is there any way we can leave an offering for Badar big enough that he'll notice it?

Badar would notice your ship before anything else. He follows behind it, interested in whatever you were going to do... it had been such a long time since he saw the last ship go flying by, they went to the moon. When it stopped, and he saw something get sent out, he studies it. 

Did you mean to send that thing out? It floats away but close enough to where he could grab it, so his hand reaches out grabs onto it, and brings it back studying it. He likes the gift... he looks at the ship and starts to slowly 'swim' around it, studying it while making sure to not get too close to hit it on accident. 

Maybe if someone came out he wouldn't do anything against them, this was more fascinating than anything else right now.

Badar, hi, how are you? You're absolutely beautiful by the way, just thought I'd let you know.

Badar had been 'swimming' around, the fins flowing behind him in the space. They blended in with bright white 'stars' that glowed. One of the fins was torn and the other had some holes in it, making it a bit easier to see that it wasn't just the stars and space around him.

He turns his head when he heard your voice, and slowly moves closer, studying you. He swam around you slowly. You knew that if he wanted to, he could easily cut the line that was allowing you to be out there to talk to him.

Slowly he moves his hands up, cupping you in them and brings you up closer to his face. His eyeshine glowed like a red giant then his massive, almost as big as your ship, teeth went up in a grin. He leans forward and nudges his head against you as a silent way of saying thank you.
