Check my tags on this post, I don’t want to get too riled up by talking about it lol but my distaste of it comes down to the stunty aspect (he’s best friends with the Hadid family ffs) and how for most Larries that’s the only way they’ll consider Liam is queer despite how many times he’s outed himself before, which is gross af, and I’m just fucking tired of it. I'm on mobile and I can't link so check my tags, but It BLOWS MY MIND that this fandom - especially Larries - think Liam is straight when he's outed himself SO MANY TIMES and I STILL see "joke" posts talking about how heterosexual he is and how he'd flip his shit if anyone implied he was queer, yet they lose their fucking minds at anyone who insinuates Harry or Louis are straight. It's so ugly and hypocritical and I'm so sorry for Liam that such an essential part of himself is deliberately ignored to push a destructive, disgusting, and blatantly false narrative he keeps rejecting. He wouldn’t stop gushing about them even so far back as the G-A-Y GIG in 2011!!!!!!!!! Yet people think he hates them???????????? And it’s absolutely so sick and disgusting and vile and horrible because he’s NEVER EVER EVER been anything less than loving and supportive and proud and happy EVERY SINGLE TIME he sees them??????

And also he co-wrote what’s considered every single queer love song 1D has ever put out (Fireproof, Ready To Run, End of the Day, Home, No Control) which everyone loves to pretend literally doesn’t exit and only Louis wrote them even though that’s a blatant LIE and everyone knows it?????

But people always buy what the print quotes say and that’s fucking gross and terrible because every single 1D fan deserves better than to give their brains to 1DHQ on a silver platter. Harry and Louis deserve better than fans who only ever defend and see the good in them, and Niall and Liam (and Zayn!) deserve better than fans who ignore how they actually act in real life in favor of believing print quotes that they damn sure should know better by now aren’t real.

So don't get me wrong, I am absolutely a Larrie because I believe in love when I see it right in front of my eyes. But damn why are so many Larries so blind and rude??? Like they're so quick to crucify Zayn, ignore helpful tips, believe every receipt that paints the picture they want despite no proof. So many people in this fandom are so ready to take stuff at face value, and I wish that would change.

Listen, I could talk all fuckin day about how Tunnel Vision Larries (those who ignore Zayn/Liam/Niall/Ziam) are the scourge on this fandom that no one deserved, especially not OT5, but :( it really is a shame, nonnie. Zayn doesn’t deserve ANY of the shit he gets from them, especially because when push comes to shove Louis and Harry would 100000% pick him over them every. single. time. It’s absolutely disgusting. Also because 99% only hate him or talk shit because fake “insiders” told them blatant lies that they’re too stupid to see were lies. It’s sickening.

Liam also doesn’t deserve the shit he gets from Larries. They say “DON’T ASSUME LARRY ARE STRAIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” yet they ALWAYS ASSUME LIAM IS STRAIGHT. Even though Liam has said OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN that he’s attracted to men.

Hell, he’s dropped as many hints and blatant statements as Larry, but it all goes ignored because it doesn’t fit their precious little world where no one else exists but Harry and Louis. Sigh. I can’t wait for Liam and Zayn to get their time to shine so the bitter assholes shut their fucking mouths tbh.

Tbh there’s really no harm in believing receipts because at the end of the day Larry IS real and whether or not that specific instance is true - they ARE together, and MILLIONS of people know this. Not just fans, but industry professionals. That’s where antis are painfully, pitifully wrong. It ISN’T just fans, it isn’t just Larries, it’s everyone close to them, their friends, their family, people who’ve worked for them who KNOW and who’ve hinted or even BLATANTLY said they were together.

Being a fan of this band is supposed to be FUN and it’s really time people remember that.
