Outlandish Creations Challenge: July 2018
Our creators here on Tumblr are not only what keeps this fandom going, but also keeps us engaged and growing our love for Outlander even more! We, here at SANDS, think it’s time to celebrate them! Mrs. Fitz is helping us with all the preparations for this month-long celebration!
Here are the details:
July 1-7: “So you’re a charmer, then? A creator?”
This week, share what your creative outlet is! Whether it’s photo edits, gif sets, fan fiction, fan art, or comedic posts that make us all laugh; tell us what it is that you love to create!
How exactly did you start creating, have you ever done this sort of thing before or was it Outlander that brought the best out of you? Share it all!
July 8-14: “You mean ye know what to do for that?”
This week, share your creative process! We know creators spend a lot of time and effort coming up with all the beautiful things shared here on tumblr but we want to know all the details!
Where did it all begin? What is the most favorite piece you have ever created? What are you currently working on? Share the with us!
July 15-21: “Welcome to the Gathering.”
This week, share who some of your favorite creators are! We know that even creators come across creations and blogs that leave them speechless. We’re curious to know more!
Do you have a favorite creator? Two or maybe three? Is there someone that inspires you? Send them an ask telling them you appreciate what they share! Or if there are ones that take requests for stories, gifs, or edits... send them a request! Create a post telling us who they are, or even better, reblog and share some of your favorites from them!
July 22-28: “We can’t thank ye enough.”
This week, it’s all about those who support the creators. One of the hardest things as a creator is feeling alone; creating and wondering if anyone connects with what you are sharing. There’s nothing more inspiring when others see and appreciate what our creators are putting out there!
Send a message or an ask to those who are your faithful commenters, rebloggers, or encouragers! We creators wouldn’t be anywhere without the likes, reblogs, comments, and support of others! Let them know you appreciate their support!
For this challenge, you can share daily, weekly, or even all at the beginning or end of the month! Make sure to tag your posts with #OutlandishCreations so we can all see what you share! We are so thankful for our creators and can’t wait to see all of your posts and spread some love and appreciation for all of them!
