Outliving the Bastards is not about quitting your desk job to travel.  It is not about being irresponsible.  It is not about not working or just getting by.  It is about creating a life that allows you to thrive now and 20 years from now. If that means grad school, go. Or putting 5 years in with a company to get the position you want, do it.  The path is diferent for everyone. Outliving the Bastards is about not staying stagnent. The goal is to wake up happy, knowing that what you are doing now is contributing to where you want to be tomorrow. Own what you want and dont be scared to take risks. Also. Most importantly, dont take advice from me because Im still figuring it out. Be courageous. Just dont be a Bastard.
