The demon had been sitting next to her on a train, not paying much attention to the brunette at first. His attention was currently out the window at the passing countryside. A soft breath left him, golden hues watching nothing but the scenery move by outside. After about a half hour or so, he'd noticed a small weight on his shoulder; causing him to glance over. Garnet has apparently fallen asleep at some point and was now using his shoulder as a pillow. A small laugh left him as he gently shook his head and used his free hand to ruffle her hair before returning his attention out the window. They still had about two hours on this ride, so might as well let her sleep.
"My tiger! " Edward wailed, the tears spilling down his cheeks in bucket loads-- at his feet laid the massacred plush doll that was beyond recognition now, the only thing that indicated it being Edward's beloved tiger was the surviving striped tail that belonged to it.
Stuffing scattered all over the floor in balls and lumps of fluff, bits and pieces of the fabric fur lay mixed within it and two pieces contained the shiny, polished golden orbs that presented it's eyes, it may of seemed stupid, to be crying over a stuffed animal but it was special to him. Really special.
