Or something. I’ve always wanted to write someone bad. A villain who wasn’t afraid to do whatever it takes to get what he wants out of life, no matter who or what gets destroyed in the process. But I also wanted him to have faults in that evil facade. Not entirely someone irredeemable. Someone who, if the right person came along, could be brought to their knees by another. A character who’s using to winning but can still lose it all. Mostly though, I wanted him to retain the capability to bleed and hurt and cry and beg. So... evil but slightly vulnerable if one knows where to poke at. And that is why I made the sorta sociopathic, probably-still-has-a-heart-somewhere-in-there thing that is Remy. ELEVEN ( DREAM JOB ): working for the feds. to be ridiculously specific, doing something for the Office for Victims of Crime (which is itself a subset of the US Department of Justice). the Crime Victims Fund is something I really, really believe in, so yeah. that’d be neat-o.
