You may not remember me; I’m Kia! I write fanfic under smallestshrike on AO3 and FanFic.net, and I also write as @margotverger-rising here on Tumblr! Some of you may also follow my personal, @alicedescends
What many of you may not know is that I’m an immigrant. I’m currently living in the US on an extended student visa, and attempting to file for permanent residency after undergoing a horribly abusive, traumatic marriage which I had to end to save my life.
I’m crowdfunding for my legal and immigration fees here on GoFundMe. Here's the deal: turns out being in grad school & teaching is like, a crazy amount of work and a huge timesuck. I've been AWOL here for a while, so I'm going to assume that all my threads are dropped. With the exception of threads with masonverger-rising, and the two more recent SLs I have with eachstilledbody & lionessamiele
If we have a thread together and you really really don't want it dropped, just message me! I don't want to drop anybody, but I also don't want to bug people by resurrecting things from ten thousand years ago. On a similar note, if you want to plot, hit me up! I'm just going to be slow for the next month or so. x
My new schedule: Mon -> Thurs, forget about it
I am slowly realizing that I'm going to be a lot less available for the next semester between Monday and Thursday. I'll be queuing posts if I can, but rp replies will be VERY slow. It doesn't mean I've lost interest, at all! It means I teach an 8am class twice a week, take two grad level classes, run two magazines, and am trying to write a thesis.
Oh, and have some semblance of a relationship/eat well/exercise/live life.
So I'm here, but a bit sparingly during week-times. I STILL LOVE YOU. OK? <3
