;; Okay so: Long story short, since I was gone so long I cleared my drafts out. If you want a thread continued, message me. Otherwise, I will post a starter call soon. Please message me for any plot discussions though! Below the cut will be just a ‘catch up’ for those interested.

So I originally made this blog like, sophomore or junior year of highschool lmao. I was 16 or 17 back then in any case. Now, I’m in my last year of college and almost 20, so a lot has changed. I really am happy to be back here, but so much seems different. Almost none of the blogs I used to write with are still active, save for a handful. Is there anyone from the HP fandom still here? Please please let me know of any good HP RP blogs oh my goddd.

It’s going to take a little for me to find me groove here again. I’ll need time to get back into my muse and probably longer to get some threads going. So any help you guys would like to give me in regards of who to follow, I would appreciate.

Otherwise, I’m glad to be back! Another quick note, I’m living in a shitty apartment until August (Long story, I was homeless for a hot minute but no worries) so I don’t have access to my desktop computer with all my icons, so I only have whatever was on my laptop here lmao.

Permanent Starter Call~!

I can be a little slow with regular starter calls, but this whole ‘permanent starter call’ business sounds exactly what I need. So! Like this post if I’m allowed to post random starters for you OR come to you for plotting at any time!   *Nonmutuals can like this, but bear in mind I will be selective.

I’ve finally come to a decision about what I’m going to be doing. In essence, I will be staying, but I will be changing a few things about how I’m running this blog lmao. For all my thoughts that I’ve considered during my break, keep reading.

I’m going to start by updating you guys on my personal life. Things have been super overwhelming both academically and within my family. I need to decide what to do with my life and where to go to college, which has me more stressed than I’ve ever been before. Ideally, I’d like to pursue writing, but it’s too unrealistic and impossible to sustain myself with so I have to find a stable alternative. As for my family, I’m more than okay to talk about it, just not publicly. If you’d like to know/offer support, please message me about that.

On to the important stuff!

I’m officially adopting a 0 bullshit policy. If our muses have interacted enough times where they have any sort of connection, I’d like to ask you to message me about going exclusive. It’s not me wanting to be controlling or anything, but it doesn’t feel good to feel like I’m being replaced, especially when we’ve interacted multiple times, yknow?

Additionally, I will not be writing with/following anyone that follows a hundred other Tom Riddles. I’m all for the fact that everyone writes a character differently, however, it is damaging and hurtful to feel like I’m “just another one” to you.

As far as activity/threads go, I’m still more than eager to write with mutuals/new people/old people! The only catch here is that when I say I’m a slow writer, I mean it. As I mentioned, there’s a lot going on in my life right now. It’s been hard for me to come to terms with it, but RPing truly is a hobby and NOT a priority. There will be days, maybe weeks, with little or no activity. If you want to write with me, you must understand that. I am unable to focus solely on this account like I tried to do for so long.

I can’t make everyone happy. Not everyone is going to like my blog, my character, my writing, etc. I know that now. And it is hard, it’s so very hard, but that is okay and I accept that. If you no longer want to follow me/thread with me for these reasons, or any reason at all, please don’t feel like you have to continue to interact with me. No matter how close we might be. I appreciate honesty as much as, if not more, than I appreciate support (both of which I need right now lmao) and you can leave whenever you like.

Otherwise, thank you for standing with me through this. And an even bigger thank you to those of you that sent me kind asks and checked in on me to make sure I was okay. I love all of you and I’m incredibly grateful for the warm response I’ve received from the RP community. I would be nothing without you guys xoxo
