JUST DROPPING A QUICK POST to apologise for my absence. Those who have followed me for some time know that my work schedule can get intense sometimes, and all these recent changes forced us to adjust our work schedules and it’s just all been bleh. Every time I think about what a HORRIBLE start 2020 had, I remind myself that George R.R. Martin said we could lock him up on a remote New Zealand island surrounded by a lake of sulfuric acid if he doesn’t deliver The Winds of Winter by August 2020. Is it naive of me to believe the Evil Santa ? Yes. But I am hanging on by a thread these days so I swear to god George, you better deliver or I will handle that acid with my own bare hands.

OK SO THIS IS GOING TO BE RANTY BUT... for 2020, can we bring back being nice to people who reach out to plot with you? Actually engaging with them instead of ‘correcting’ every single idea they propose? Explaining your character’s background ( especially if you have written a different back story for them than canon material ) instead of expecting them to know every single detail coming in? No? Is that too much to ask? My bad.

I WOULD LOVE to have more than one rp account. Really. There are at least half a dozen characters I seriously think about writing, but I know I am a lazy little shit who would always end up neglecting one or the other. @People who have multiple blogs and handle them all with amazing abilities: How do you do it ??? Please share your wisdom with me.

Today, we had a small birthday party in our office for one of our colleagues ( we are a small office anyway — less than a dozen people ) where my boss got drunk, gave me a kiss on the eye which I think was meant to go to my cheek, and LOUDLY told everyone that I was her favourite employee. What a time to be alive.
