I’m always curious about Mau.  Like, how did the residents develop a cat form?  Or was it just some of them?  Did they live as humanoids most often?  WHAT ARE THEIR STORIES SOMEONE WRITE THIS FOR ME PLEASE?

Unpopular Opinion

I hate that I feel this is an unpopular opinion but... I actually, overall, like SMC.  Despite some wonky looking scenes, some 'what' moments and some general confusion, I've enjoyed the different take.  I find a lot of the scenes really pretty.  It sucks that we're missing some development, especially for some of the things they cut development out for.

Maybe it's that I have trouble picking up on emotions in foreign languages anyways.  So, the fact that they're flat characters is missed on me.  I can't tell the differences in it, so they just sound like they do in my head when I read it.

There are even plenty of aspects of the last episode, that I was probably harshest on reaction wise, that I thoroughly enjoyed.
