Kai’s Christmas Commissions

So, I just found out that the two tech-y things I really try to save up for, are currently available for about half the overall price and, of course, when I can save money, I’ll try doing that. SO I now need to raise roughly 500€ till Christmas. Yay. 8D

For anyone interested, this is specifically about the professional upgrade of my artprogram (kinda important tbh) and the PS4 1TB Pro (not so important but it would make for a great Christmas gift to myself)

So until Christmas, I’ll try to pump out as many commissions, as I can. The prices for colored sketches are so low, because I additionally have a sale on those going on until the end of the year and I’ll stick to my word on that. Additionally however, I will sell full paintings again, even those take me much longer, than a colored sketch. Which why I so seldom offer those for commission. So grab ‘em while they’re hot. ;)

Rules:

- payment in advance - I only accept paypal - I don’t draw incest/pedophilia/gore/non-con/dub-con - if you want me to draw your OCs, or book characters, I need you to give me exhaustive descriptions, I can work with - I cannot draw furries/anthros or robots (Sorry! ûu) But I can design a humanoid version of those, if you wish - I will send you the digital file via email - if you want to order a commission, you can send me an ask (also on my artblog), or contact me via IM (or discord, if you have my contacts)

Alright, I managed to reply to all my saved drafts on @a-sanguine, @vnconcy, @memoriam-spiritu and @vivere-mendacium. If you are waiting on a reply on any of these and I haven’t posted them until now, chances are, I lost the reply. Just hmu with the link and I’ll put it in my drafts, for the next day, I got time to work on them.

Now it’s past midnight however and when I wake up, everyone will be in Valentine’s Day hype. Which mean, I will likely be offline, or lurking passively the entire day. Because that whole holiday is a massive trigger for me.

That being said, I still wish you all a good time today and tomorrow! Until Friday, I guess!

Can we, for once, skip that whole unnecessarily insensitive “I like it! it’s your problem, if you don’t” and vice verse spiel about the new update? The point is, that it was a very inconsiderate way of implementing this update. You wouldn’t suddenly put flashing gifs on everyone’s dash, without a previous warning, either, right!?

This update was meant to raise accessibility of this site and that is a good intent, admittedly. And if it makes tumblr more accessible for you personally, that’s great. But it doesn’t change the fact, that it almost instantly triggered headache and eyestrain in other users. Which makes it a subsequently bad  update, because the increase in accessibility was not achieved. Aditionally, it put a great number of users in harms way, without giving them a previous warning, of what was to happen. I literally suffered through a very painful vision-induced migraine within the first ten minutes of this update, while I was still trying to figure out, if this was just my screen being wonky!

What would have made this update useful, would have been, if it was a choosable option. Like you can use the tumblr Labs option to show the blogs’s color-schemes on their respective posts. That way, those, who benefit from this new feature could easily access it, without having to install random add-ons. And those, who’d suffer from this update, would not get exposed to it in the first place.

The point is not, that it doesn’t help us, even though it might help you. The point is, it legit caused physical harm to people, because of how inconsiderately the update was executed.

So I asked in my DARP d*scord server what nsfw-art I should draw tonight and the first request was Dirthamen and Solas doing the do. Obviously I cannot post it here anymore. But I intent to set up an nsfw-twitter for the time being, until I figured out where to migrate all my art for the long run.
