I find that I can live with it, because you can actually sing.

So, this post is purely for me. I had Dani and Alyssa breakdown their character with songs. I will warn you if you read it; it has many feels. BE WARNED:
Miss Louu: okay, so I've got Turn It Off by Paramore and I Will Not Bow by Breakng Benjamin
Breaking Ben because it just speaks resilience to me. And she's pretty resilient. I mean, she's not the toughest shit there is, but she's picked a life, and she's gonna persue it til the end no matter how much it sucks, no matter how much she wants out, or how much she may fuck up. She has a task. She is gonna see it through. She won't let any of it break her. Well, except hell. that's gonna break her. but she will always try to come out on top or see the top side to something. Even if she's at the bottom of the barrel now to finish a task, and it's gonna be hard, and it's gonna be brutal. She's going to have to do things she never thought she'd do, but that's the cost of saving people, right? Even if she loses herself in the end, she doing what she set out to do. She won't bow down to anything she doesn't need to, or want to. She's gone too far to just roll over, belly to the Gods and beasts.
Turn It Off because, well, a little similar. She's stuck in a situation. She's a hunter. Everything is a mission. Her life has been a collection of missions and quests sine she was young, and she wants to be the hero, but she's scraping her knees at the bottom. She's trying to find some hope, but there isn't one. There is no God, and it is going to get worse. She's prayed for so long that her family didn't die and get thrown into some god awful place when they were killed and burned. Probably kept her going for a while, but now we have Meg, a dark spot in her life, and no one is gonna come save her. She's selling her entire existance to save a family she thought was okay to let go of, but no one's gonna save her. Her better is the cliff. Everything will be better when she's dead. Astrid won't be all Astrid anymore when she comes back a demon. She's going to have a new cause. A new mission. And it wont be as painful as the first,
ĸнaleeѕι~: SO, the first song is Face Down by Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Here's why: Purely because Meg, no matter how her life changes and what she does. She's always going to have a sick faith in Lucifer. He could do anything to her. And he has done things he never should have to make her who she is. It kills her in a way. Her brain is a fracturing place, but if it means Lucifer isn't alone. She's willing to accept it. Because He is more important than whatever she does, what she is now. He's always held her, and some small part of her wants to believe that eventually after another twist to her being, after another ripped feather, he's going to realize she's right there.
Next we've got Colorful Mind by Broken Iris. Which ties in to the place in her head. She still sees her wings, which were a beautiful white. She clings to who she was, and at times, it gets the better of her. She cracks, right down the middle and that's the beauty in her to me. She's got all of this chaos and this darkness. And if she's honest, she can't say she regrets it, but she definitely wants to be less of a fuck up. She can't save anyone and no one gives a fuck about her enough to save her.
Third we have Elastic Heart, by Sia. This one ties both of the previous songs together. This song is probably most relevant to Meg. When she gives herself, she gives herself fully to everyone and everything. She gave herself to Lucifer, to save him. She gave herself to Dean in hell, and he doesn't even remember her, and she's giving herself to Astrid now, so she doesn't go through the hell meg went through. She knows in a way, it's not going to be enough. When it's over, just like before it's all going to be for nothing and no one will give a shit about her enough to say, I'm not going to let her break. She needs saving too. And she fucking does. But she's so afraid of trying to hold together the strings of who she is and who's she's been, that she's like a fucking rubberband, and it's steadily being stretched. At this point, the next major blow that comes to her, is going to be the final one. She's already breaking down with the only one to show her care, Camael, and She flat out refuses to stop and say it's too much. Everyone needs her, and if they hate her? She's okay with that because she hates herself. She went through the worst thing that could be done to an angel for love. She wants to say this is it. I'm done after this, but she won't because until everyone else is happy, her pretty little self is going to keep breaking.
