also? when she descended targon she moved and looked similar to kida in atlantis when she was merged with the heart of atlantis. she was pure light. she walked through shurima and walked across the ocean until she arrived on ionia’s shore, and it was there the light finally fell from her body like water and she took her current form.
i think the way i’ll write soraka for now is that she fell to runeterra because she so adored mortals, a little bit like prometheus giving fire to mortals. i think it’s possible her power and magic was very limited to the grove itself, as they’re two connected beings, and she could only help those who came to the grove. she thought she’d be more useful outside of the grove, hence why she left-- but her fall is still a painful and lonely adjustment.
im going to assume, for the sake of my portrayal, that her ‘fall’ was still painful, lonely, and a long period of adjustment. its integral to my soraka.
when @retribxttion flashs to save me from jinx ult ❤❤❤❤❤
i’m going to try this again, so
starter call for star guardian verse! mutuals only, please.
when the first pulse of the cosmos began, when all things were born, when the first star burst into existence— soraka was born. the stars are her sisters, each of their voices as familiar as her own. she is as old as life and time itself. soraka came into being as a vessel of the star’s magic, a divining rod so to speak. their will and voices spoke to her, and she spoke for them. soraka is, thus, one of the oldest celestials.
