Proof that I finished my bishop robes in time for Anime Boston! ................really late proof, haha. I should chronicle the trials and tribulations of making this particular costume. I swear, none of my other costumes come with this many wacky stories.

I still have to re-do the cape, finish up my  new tome, and find a better Guiding Ring, but overall I’m thrilled with what I have. ...it looks better when it’s properly ironed, but I wasn’t taking chances with the hotel iron, and sateen apparently wrinkles if you look at it sideways.

friend: You okay?? me: *lost in thought* so devlin's father is hades and ulysses's father is poseidon, doesn't that make them cousins who just fight all the time and make family dinners awkward?? also if i'm going to have hades and poseidon, why not use the whole trio and have zeus? which of my muses have a father that is unknown, who enjoys naiads that can also be of fae origins... and what's wrong with a verse with maverick's father being zeus OH NO THAT IS TOO MUCH friend: .... huh

//just a small update on fc changes i personally had to go through in the past

i've been rping for a WHILE and i totally stand by the idea that if for some reason the fc you use makes you uncomfortable, you should change it. it's hard and it makes you feel better

in my experience, i had an oc who was disney based, daughter of Aurora and Prince Phillip named Genevieve Rose, and her fc back then was Amber Hea*rd. When the allegations came in with that particular celebrity, I had to change it to emily be*tt rickar*ds and honestly- it felt like that fc fit her better and i can be rest assured

i totally support this notion, it feels like something we must do as a community, and no one should be treated bad for it

/literally all these years ago no one would like any of the headcanons i had for apollymi, and now i have so many amazing followers who not only like but send me ideas and plots in IMs and asks- and i am super grateful like u guys have no idea <3
