This month Ways2Raise is proud to announce our next campaign; Raine’s Gender Therapy and Hormone Fundraiser. 

"Hi everyone, my name is Raine. I am a disabled trans woman of color and I need your help. These past few months have been extremely difficult for me. Firstly, I'm disabled and on a very limited income. Because of this, I've been on a waiting list for a number of years with the Transgender Institute here in Kansas City, to receive services pro bono. As it stands, I've  been unsuccessful and unable to begin that in the 5 years that I've been living life as a woman; I'm not even on HRT. And with the poor economy and other factors, the Transgender Institute no longer even offers pro bono services.”

This campaign will be different than anything you have seen before. While we will be setting up a Dedicated Design (a design made and sold exclusively in order to donate towards a trans individual in need) for Raine in the months to come, we are kicking off this fundraiser by collaborating with other trans/queer brands. 

This kick off is a donation based drawing. Meaning you not only have the opportunity to help an amazing woman, but also the chance to win a t-shirt, hoodie, or hat from each of the brands involved with the project.

Infinite Headwear - Infinite Headwear was created with two goals in mind, aiding the Trans community and supplying a line that benefits all involved. Initially, all proceeds will go towards the top surgery fund of the found/designer, once this goal is reached, the real work begins. From that point on, all proceeds will go towards creating care packages for Trans youth. Each package will contain items fitting that specific individuals needs, as we are dedicated to ensuring the comfort and safety of our youth. To enter for your chance to win, make a donation to Raine here. Tickets cost $5 and for every increment of $5 that you donate, you’ll receive another ticket(i.e: $5 - 1 ticket, $10 - 2 tickets, $15 - 3 tickets). 

When you make your donation, don’t forget to comment with your Tumblr URL, instagram username, or a contact email address so that we can get your size and address to ship your prizes.
