The Days Ahead!

You’ll be seeing and hearing more from us again over the next few weeks as we get back into the swing of things! Here’s a little of what you can look forward to-

The return of Writing Trans on Wednesday with answers to a few questions we’ve received.

The first Gender Expansive submission of the new year, this Saturday.

We’re in the process of creating some basic educational resources focused around transforming transphobia and other topics. And included here is a brief preview of one of the handouts we’re develping.

We’re very excited to be getting back to work, and look forward to having more things to share with you soon.

We know it’s been relatively quiet here the last month as we regroup and forge ahead, but we wanted to take the time to wish all of you a positive new year. We hope that you all are safe tonight, and we want you to know that you are loved and in our thoughts.

In Wake of the Election

Last night was the presidential election. And, well, we all know what happened. It’s a very scary and potentially dangerous time for many members of our community, so we wanted to take the time to urge everybody to be safe and to not give up. 

Those of us here at Ways2Raise are disheartened, but we plan to continue our work with even greater vigor going forward. Remember that we are not alone. It’s hard not to feel isolated- but we do not have to be. Reach out to each other, protect and support the most vulnerable parts of our community. Both politically, and personally.

We urge everyone that needs it to go over to our advice blog even if you just need someone to lend an ear for a little while. In the following months we welcome you to submit any important resources that you think are important for others to have, or any inspirational messages or support. Even if you just think it’s something we should know about to check out and let our other follower’s know about it, please jump in our askbox or submissions.
