DAY 8 (Saturday) DIRTY X TIRED X GREEN SCREEN

Some of my group members gone home that it was only Amanda, Yumi and I that stayed behind to continue the afternoon shift with the arrival of Urayan and Charisma. After eating lunch at Jen’s house we greeted the new arrival and watched them put the green screen as our body was very not cooperating with us and wouldn’t move thankfully they understand and just let us watch and talk with the family. The job of putting some green screen wasn’t done as they were not enough materials to finish so we just sat and talk and talk occasionally talking with the cute kids in the community. We gone out early because they were some two women screaming and pulling each other’s hair because of some financial problems and we were afraid of being subjected of their wrath, luckily we weren’t harm or something.

Output #11: Day 7 (Saturday)

Prepare for the big day

At the moment we arrived, of course we already had our breakfast since we spend the night over our groupmate’s house.

When Sarah and her squad came, they eventually fell asleep due to somehow pulling an all-nighter finishing wrapping the giveaways, specifically they finished at 1AM.

Followed by Wayne, Ariane and Grace including Angelica, I instructed Wayne to repair the wooden bed or papag inside the adopted family’s house that broke last night. Then he asked from help of Sarah. But since I said a while ago, Sarah demanded to take some sleep.

Around 9 in the morning, Jack, the youngest, requested if I can help him doing morning bath and of course I did. Followed by assisting Jerome, second to the youngest, in doing also his morning bath. Before this happen, Sarah and Aihla collect some water or umigib in the house beside.

10AM, more or less, Em and I assisted Wayne fixing the broken bed. An hour later, the bed was fixed and we divided ourselves in to two groups: one group who is instructed to stay inside for a while and the other one eat out for lunch, then vice versa.

[2ND AND LAST OVERNIGHT] WRAPPING UP

After having dinner at Mama Jemma’s house, we immediately headed to Sarah’s place. We arrived at her house by 8 in the evening since there’s still a line on the terminal. Before heading to Sarah’s place, we bought a kilo of fries and 2 packs of juice for our snack. When we arrived at Sarah’s house, we rested for some minutes while Pau and Sarah cooked the fries. After resting, we started cleaning ourselves one by one.

 By 10 in the evening, we finished cleaning and cooking so we started wrapping the giveaways. Wrapping the gifts was quite hard because we have to use the 10 gift wrappers to wrap 70 pieces school supplies.

It’s already midnight and we’re still not done wrapping. We’re also sleepy and hungry so Sarah bought noodles for our midnight snack. Not long enough, the noodles were done so we continued wrapping while eating. We finished wrapping all the gifts past 1 in the morning. We cleaned the bed then we sleep.

I woke up about 4:30 in the morning. I woke up the other members. I cooked scrambled egg for our breakfast then Sarah cooked pancit canton. While she was cooking, Eveth and I went out to buy shampoo. When we returned, our breakfast is ready. We ate pancit canton, scrambled egg and bread then after that, we took a bath and prepared for the long day.
