I'm intimidated by the fear of being average. People haven't always been there for me but music always has. Just be yourself, there is no one better.

Do they follow me: Yes | No
Do I follow them: Yes | No | Now
What I think about their blog: honestly one of my favorite blogs and i totally freaked out when she followed me
are we out of the woods yet?
If you could have your head transplanted onto someone else’s body, would you? And, who’s would you choose?
Hey Taylor!
So this Friday, I will finally get to see @taylorswift live in concert, something I have been dreaming of for the longest time! I just missed out on getting tickets to the Red tour 2 years ago, so this was/is a really big deal. I’m so excited and have eagerly been counting down the months, weeks, days, since I first got the tickets more than a year ago, until the concert day. I had never been so excited for something that was over a year away, and I’m still just as excited now that there are two days til the concert. I’ll most probably start crying when I see Taylor in person, just because she is so amazing and this will really be a dream come true.
I still vividly remember the exact moment when I was introduced to Taylor - it was actually my sister, showing me a music video which she thought was cute and I’d like. That was You Belong With Me. And from there, it kind of just spiralled into this ever blossoming love. Since then, I have been obsessed with Taylor’s music. Taylor’s the only artist whose albums I have actually bought, and whose songs I still listen to all the time. I have so many favourite lyrics from a range of the songs from all the albums, and I always marvel at how wonderfully, cleverly, beautifully and poetically the lyrics are.
A few years ago, I received a guitar for my birthday. Immediately, I went on YouTube and looked up all the Taylor songs I could find tutorials to, and started to learn from watching them on repeat. Begin Again was the first ever song I learnt to fully play on the guitar, as it was my favourite song at the time, and to this day is still one of my favourites.
Speak Now, Red and 1989 are all in my car and are the songs I play most often 99% of the time when I drive. 1989 is the only album I’ve listen to for over a year. Most songs I get sick of after a week or two of playing on repeat, but not 1989. My favourite song changes every now and then, from Blank Space to This Love to New Romantics to Bad Blood to yeah I could just list the whole album out you get the picture and my alarm tone is and has been Shake It Off for at least the whole of this year. 1989 has really helped me through some rough times this past year, so Taylor, thank you.
I’m so happy and proud of the achievements that you’ve made, the awards you’ve won, for what you represent, and how many more people have grown to love you since 1989 was released. I get so angry and defensive over the way you were portrayed by the media, and how it seemed to be perceived as not a cool thing to like you and be a fan of yours. How everyone seemed to only know you for the people you’d been with, and not for your music. You were and are undoubtedly one of the most talented people in the music industry, writing all your own songs and coming up with these amazing lyrics that at times have me just so in awe over how eloquently you’re able to capture a feeling and put it into words. Like you said earlier this year, no one says anything about that when it’s Bruno Mars, when it’s Ed Sheeran. Your girl squad has made squad goals a thing of 2015, and you’ve taught us to love ourselves, to surround ourselves with a group of awesome girlfriends, and that’s the best message that can be given to girls these days .
Looking back at the Speak Now lyric book, there’s a phrase you say that has really stuck with me. “Words can break someone into a million pieces, but they can also put them back together.” I’ve known first hand the power of being broken down by words, and to have that more optimistic perception and interpretation of such a phrase is so powerful.
So thank you for being such a great role model and such an inspiration, and I cannot WAIT to see you this Friday - my friends and I will be the three girls screaming loudly from row J of section C3 with the Taylor 1989 Tour tshirts and glowsticks everywhere. I would love to meet you in person one day and get the chance to thank you and tell you how wonderful you are, and what an inspiration you are to so many of us.
For now (or on Friday) though, I’ll just settle at being in your presence, and having the chance to witness you do what you do best, performing and showcasing your amazing talents.
Love, Viv
I've got a blank space, baby, and I'll write your name.
